We stayed here for one night only, however were very impressed. The friendliness of the staff and the lovely accommodation helped make a wet night brighter. We would definitely stay here again and the food was diverse and plentiful. A great atmosphere in the restaurant which overlooked the loch. Beautiful.

Very old fashioned style hotel which doesn't appear to embrace its heritage as well as it should. There's a little history here and there about the owner and a lot of the decor is similar in style to when it was opened a number of years ago, but I think it would be better if the hotel tries to stay... We were lucky enough to experience 2 nights at Clan Macduff hotel. The place was very clean, and had a restaurant available for evening meals, as well as breakfast. One of the last accommodation places on the edge of town, but within walking distance if weather is suitable! The location however, gives for a perfect view of the loch out... More

My family and I stayed at this hotel for two nights during a recent tour of the Highlands, it was absolutely fantastic, the location cannot be beaten, the superb views over the loch were unbelievable. The meals were excellent and the service very good. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. I would highly recommend this... More

We stayed one night at this beautiful place on the shores of Loch Linnhe. We arrived on a rainy evening and left after breakfast the next day. The check-in was smooth and the young lady at the reception was friendly. We had a double room on the ground floor which was not very spacious but just enough. But what stood... More

We stayed for two nights- initially we could only get one night as we left it so late, but the staff noted our wish and were able to find us another room for our second night. The staff were friendly and worked well together, the rooms were very comfortable and the food very good- I'm a vegetarian and had plenty... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a family room for 4, with 2 single + bunk beds. The beds were very comfortable and the room was a good size. Breakfast was excellent, as was dinner in the restaurant one evening. The hotel has a nice lounge for sitting with old leather furniture, as well as a quiet reading... More

We were staying for 2 nights to climb Ben Nevis. The hotel was brilliant. We had a triple room, ample size, and the room was very quiet indeed (room 5). Have a side on view over the Loch on a small balcony. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked, with plenty of choice for cereals/fruit also. The bar doesn't open til... More

We stayed here for 4 nights 31st July and had a very enjoyable and trouble free break, the hotel has a good Scottish feel about it, full of charm and character which includes the staff, while i can understand some people would class the hotel as worn and dated but for me if i go to Scotland i want Scotland,...
