great location only a few minutes walk to centre of fort william, fabulous views over the loch, rooms a decent size and cleaned to my high standards daily. Food and drink an excellent variety . We were on a coach tour, with about three/four choices for every coarse and they sold a good selection of drinks. The staff at the... more

The hotel was booked with budget in mind for a group of us on a skiing trip to the Nevis Range near Fort William. As such we didn't have any great expectations and it lived up to these in the sense that it's a 2 star establishment. It's good value for money but not the Ritz! Check in was pleasant,... more

This is the sixth year running we've stayed here and yet again our trip was fantastic! All staff were as friendly as usual and the food was as good as always - the diets started when we got back! Our friends who travelled with us can't stop going on about it!! See you guys again in September......! more

We were sorted out with rooms instantly even though they were up to the eyeballs with Germans and we were made to feel very welcome. The... more

Stayed in this hotel in September 2006. Its a bit old fashioned and dated - but this just added to its charm. Had a lovely room with a view over the lake, comfortable bed, good food and friendly staff. Tea/coffee making facilities in bedroom very welcome. No hairdryer in room but you can borrow one from reception. Town of Fort... more

Arrived late just in time for last food orders thought I was in a nursing home at first the whiole place is like a 1970's butlins holiday camp old style decor and even older people. Our room was above the kitchen and the language was filthier than Gordon Ramsey himself! Food presentation left a lot to be desired, quality below... more

We found the hotel to be slightly old fashioned and thought it could do with a bit of a refurbishment. A lift would be a great addition especially for... more
