We stayed in Apartment 1, for 2 nights. The house was well equipped, was in a very nice location with beautiful view from the living room. The booking process was smooth, the owners were friendly and helpful. The only problem with the house was that it was not too clean. Especially the kitchen and the bathroom. I would still recommend... More

As we were both away on holiday at the time, we cannot comment directly about what went wrong. Sometimes if other guests are staying the common... More

Just spent 3 nights at Calluna for a Girllie Trip for Scotland. We had a 2 bedroom flat which was perfect for what we needed. Fairly dated but comfortable and all you needed in the kitchen (we ate in 2 of the nights). Note - you do need to bring your own towels. Positioning it is fab - walking distance... More

I stayed at Calluna for a weekend winter climbing and walking trip. It was a bit of a last minute thing and I managed to get a bed in the Alpine Loft bunkhouse for two nights. I wasn't looking for the Ritz, just somewhere clean, reasonably priced and with half decent facilities. Calluna ticked all these boxes and more. My... More

No complaints whatsoever. We stayed in one of the 8 person apartments. We were a group of 3 (a couple plus a mate) and planned to do some winter climbing so booked the two twin rooms so as not to disturb the other guests when we got up early. The apartments are warm, well equipped with heaps of storage space... More

Great place. Owners are mountaineers themselves and helped me with hiking boot repair, orienteering books, even box for mailing unnecessary things home so I wouldn't have to haul them on backpack trip into hills. Wonderful place. More
