One of the best places I have ever stayed in, our group of 4 had so much room it was fantastic. Just what you would need after a long day on the mountains 10/10 from the Tipperary men. Jim,John,Scally,John Thanks

We stayed in the Flat and have to say it was both clean and comfortable. Alan Kimber was very help full at all times We had no difficulty in finding it once we had it set into out sat Nav. I would certainly recommend it.

Thanks John, Good to see that some guests find us easy to find. We have recently changed the postcode with Royal Mail, plus the road we are on. We still live at the same place, but as our road is not officially adopted the old postcode before 2014 was not helpful. We also send out a map to folk who... More

This hotel was not easy to find, the map has one street mentioned, but actually it might be better for walkers to state the name of the street that walkers gain access through. For the price, it was very comfortable if bare, but it a hostel. It was well equipped for a self-catering stay with all plates and cutlery required... More

Thanks Sarah, Some guests do find us fairly easily and our postcode and street name has been changed since 2013 as we live on an un-adopted road. We also sent out a map to you I believe, which clearly marks the route and street names. Hope to see you back again. More

Doing LEJOG and wanted to cap off with a climb up BN. Couldn't have wished for a friendlier welcome and help in realising one of my wee dreams. Launderette and equipment hire were absolute essentials for me Thank you.

Thanks Andy, I hope you have recovered from your LEJOG cycle and can now look forward to the next adventure. Maybe Scotland in the winter to go climbing on Ben Nevis. More

Comfortable bunks, cosy sitting room and kitchen. We only stayed one night but would use as a base for walking/cycling in future. Fantastic photos of Ben Nevis around the place and interesting library.

My kayaking club keeps coming back to this great place. It's exactly what we need. Comfortable accommodation at an unbeatable price. The drying room is brilliant. The owners are always lovely and helpful. Looking forward to returning soon!

My friend and I stayed here whilst doing some guided mountaineering in the area. It is the third or fourth time I've stayed and I've been just as happy as always. I expected the place to be busy but it was actually fairly quiet and we never struggled for space in the kitchen, lounge or bathroom. The twin room we... More

Spent a few days at Calluna bunkhouse at the beginning of April to do some walking around the Ben. Was a fantastic base for outdoor activities...kit hire was very convenient and reasonable and the drying rooms did a great job especially considering that they were filled with kayak gear as well as our own kit. Rooms, kitchen, bathroom were all... More

Arrived solo a couple of days in advance of a larger party. Very hospitable and comfortable place geared for outdoor enthusiasts. Allan seamlessly hooked me up with a great guide to do a ski mountaineering route on Carn Dearg exactly as requested. Then at the end of a stormy day on the mountain there is nothing better than putting your... More

We really enjoyed our stay here, great location being a short walk to the main street in Fort William and cosy and warm after a day walking with a nice view from the living room. Great value for money!
