As a first time visitor to the area travelling alone looking to move to the area i was impressed with the level of service I recieved from all staff members and felt than nothing was to much for them. Wifi would have been great hiwever when surrounded by such fantastic scenery it can be forgiven! I had dinner in the... More

View from window was of Harbour- quite a lovely view , - such a shame what was inside the room. Blankets were so old and threadbare,Term "friable' comes to mind: touch it and linen falls apart.- blankets were especially such like, had holes in them,.. and were placed onto beds again even after management and staff shown condition. Bathroom amenities... More

Hotel was very clean, the staff were very courteous and helpful, the room and bed were a bit on the small side and I am only 5ft 8in. tall. We had a front facing room with lovely views. The food was excellent. Food and bar prices were very reasonable. Very central for all amenities. Would visit again as long as... More

I stayed here for one night with my son. Our room was huge! Large double bed and couch with plenty of wardrobes & drawers. Great location at the end of Fort William high street. Fabulous views. The hotel is dated but please don't let that put you off. It was very clean and the staff extremely friendly and welcoming. When... More

We stayed for 2 nights and had a fantastic time - the hotel had everything we could have asked for - right in town centre, the most kind and friendly staff I've ever encountered, good sized clean rooms (with working tvs, tea/coffee making and biscuits!), views over the loch, great food, good wifi, parking, and all for £75 per room... I have to point out I am a very fussy consumer. The staff especially the Gentleman behind the bar and always floating around every where was so friendly and helpful. If more hotels could base their hotels on how this hotel is run then they would never be empty. Food very well presented and tasty and travelling on my own... More

After a poor attempt at camping and almost crippling myself with a back problem, we decided to attempt to book in to this hotel because the view was amazing. The receptionist was a very friendly lady who was more than helpful. We got the last room available which was a lovely room with a view out over the loch, the... More

Stopped here on a motorcycle tour of Scotland, off road parking was a good start. Rooms not ready at 2pm but a pleasant manager gave us a free round of drinks while waiting. Rooms and breakfast fine while a little pricey. Ate in an Indian in town recommended buy same manager and it was good. overall not bad, large bar... More

During a motorbike tour I stayed two nights here with two friends. We were made very welcome, the staff were attentive and helpful, the food was of high quality and served promptly. Although slightly dated, the décor was in good repair. If the en-suite shower had delivered hot water more efficiently I would have given 5 stars!

The hotel night porter was a star and sorted us a room when we arrived in Fort William late at night after travelling, and served us lime and soda even though the bar was closing/closed. It was a budget room, as we'd asked for, so were happy with the appearance of the room/hotel and it was comfortable. HOWEVER, as we'd... More
