Couldn't find it either on the map or using sat-nav. Turns out the address wasn't exactly as listed. Find the A82, head north out of Fort William and it's just past the roundabout on the right hand side. Rooms were pretty small. A guest managed to enter our room when we were un-packing but didn't apologise!! Breakfast was nothing special... more

Noisey, small and cramped, no storage space, barely enough space to walk around the room, stuffy with minimal ventilation (window opened a few inches, poor plumbing (scolded by shower). The only friendly member of staff was a Polish waitress. We were greeted by an unfriendly and unwelcoming reception. Cant believe this place has a three star rating - stayed in... more

Just a little bit too far from the town centre to make the walk comfortable but it's only 15 minutes so not too bad. The distance did beat us on our last night after an 11 hour hike and the lack of hot food in the evening at the guest house or in the immediate surroundings was a bit disappointing.... more

Stayed for 2 nights on a short trip to Fort William. Never met the owners but were welcomed by a very nice Polish girl receptionist. The really tiny so called double bedroom had a sickly sweet smell when we arrived. This cleared from the room after we left the window open for a couple of hours. We complained about it... more

I and my firend stopped here in Septemeber 2006 as part of a driving tour of the highlands. We wanted to climb Ben nevis and as the weather was poor the morning we arrived we decided to wait for clearer weather the next day(at the advice of the chap at the Glen Nevis visitor centre glad we heeded!) So we... more

A little disappointed with our stay here. The main problem we had was the poor soundproofing between the rooms. You could hear people talking next door although you couldn't quite make out the words. Rooms are small; by the time you open your case and take a few things out there is nowhere to stand! However, they are clean. Breakfast... more

Hi stayed there last month and was surprised at previous comments The staff were very friendly and accommodation was very nice, the lounge was vey comfortable with tea and coofee available on request. They seem to have spent a lot of time on upgrading recently as the room we were in was sparkling. We really enjoyed breakfast as they provide... more

In October, 2005, my husband and I were on a trip through the Highlands. The hotel in Fort William that I wanted was unavailable so we settled for the Glenlochy Guest House. Having looked at their web site, I thought it would be nicer than it was. It is a small B&B right on the main north-south road, with very... more

The best hotel we stayed in during our six week trip around the UK. Great location and great value for money. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Clean and comfortable rooms and fabulous breakfast. We will definately be recommending Glenlochy Guest House to all our family and friends. more
