Immaculate, clean, comfortable, great breakfast. I've never been a great fan of Fort William but I really would stay here again- can't fault it. Within walking distance of the town centre. Easy parking at the rear. A great base for outdoor activities in Lochaber.

Lovely and clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast, nice fresh food and quick service. Great location right near a lovely restaurant. Would definitely recommend to anyone, we were very lucky to get the last room available.

We needed one night in Fort William on our way home from The Outer Hebrides and what a find! This little guest house has been finished to the highest standards and provides modern, very comfortable accommodation. You get the feel that the owners gave thought through every detail of the comfort of their guests. They are friendly and helpful. The... More

We took a taxi from the train station to the Guest House because we didn't realize how close we were - it was raining, we were tired, we had luggage, we're septuagenarians, the address (Belford Rd.) didn't seem specific enough for us to find the location - it was the right thing for us to do - the taxi driver... The MacLean guest house is pristine and very, very clean. It is perfectly located for an easy walk into town and to public transportation (both bus and train). Everything is modern and up to date. The morning breakfast was very good. The full-service breakfast is only offered for 1 hour so there isn't a lot of flexibility in timing, but... More

The guest house is located near to the train station and High street, within walking distance to the restaurants and shops. It is a very convenient if you wish to take the Jacobite steam train. We did not purchase the train tickets in advance but went to the train station early to purchase the day tickets instead. We stayed in... More

Ideally situated for anyone finishing the West Highland Way and/or starting the Great Glen Way in Fort William. There are numerous B&Bs in the area, and on my Land's End to John O'Groats walk, I did not pre-book any accommodations. I chose the MacLean Guest House purely on first impressions from the outside appearance....and I'm SO glad I did. I... More

Whilst visiting family in Fort William, we stayed at Maclean Guest House. It was a fantastic experience. Mark & Brandi Lee made us feel SO welcome. The accommodation was of the highest standard. The choice of what type of breakfast you want was extensive & the cooked "Full Scottish" is to be recommended. All staff were very helpful & friendly,... More

This was my first visit to the MacLean guest house and I was impressed, the guest house is simply beautiful, finished to a very high standard, very friendly with helpful owners, excellent breakfast I loved the location of the guest house, close enough for the heart of Fort William ( less then a 5 minute walk) yet still remains enough...
