We stayed at a nearby B&B (Quaich Cottage -- highly recommended) and stopped at the Moorings Hotel for dinner. It offers good food, a selection of single malts. The service is quite prompt and friendly. Would certainly recommend to anyone visiting the area. more

Booked two nights in a room with a double bed , which turned out to be two singles pushed together with what must be the most uncomfortable pillows known to humankind .
