Myself and two friends stayed here at the end of June 2014 whilst on a motorcycle trip. We were greeted by the owner who was very welcoming and helpful throughout our three night stay. The rooms were immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. The owner kindly offered to move his own car from the garage to allow the bikes in. The... More

First things first, our sat nav really struggled to find this place so you're definitely best having a map to hand before setting off. Its up on top of the hill overlooking Fort William and is about a 15 minute walk down (add on a few minutes going back up!). We were greeted by the owner on arrival and grateful... More

Stayed here for one night with my boyfriend. Room was clean and we could see the loch from side bedroom window. Host was very helpful at breakfast about best places to park to catch steam train. Breakfast was lovely and a good range of food. Only downside is the steep climb up to the place and would recommend a taxi!... More

Stayed in Lochview House with my boyfriend recently for three nights. it was wonderful--nice view across lake to the hills, and lovely gardens out front. It was nice having our own apartment, which was adorable. It was very well decorated, had everything we needed (all the necessary utensils, pepper, salt, etc in kitchen), even had a bathtub and really comfortable... More

We chose Lochview for the view and we were not disappointed! We had the central front room, and from our bed we could see the mountains and the lake. Lovely! The couple running the place couldn't be more friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious and prepared according to our wishes! Be ready for a good walk up hill to reach... More

My wife and I and two friends of ours stayed there on a trip around the Highlands and Islands and this property was an example go what a good B&B should be. Beautifully appointed, immaculate housekeeping, an hospitable and well informed host with regards to local features raining from walks to restaurants and good Scottish breakfast. Superb!

We stayed in the Nevis apartment for 4 nights in September 2013 as a base for touring the West Highlands Don't let the winding staircase, damp smell and wall to wall claustrophobic photographs put you off when you arrive - the Nevis Apartment is well worth the trek to the upper back of the house. It's a delightful little flat... More

Stayed here after walking a few days on the West Highland Way. I'd give this a higher ranking but for its location. I was happy to get to the end of the train , but then had walk through town and up one final steep hill to get to the House. After a long day of hiking in the rain,... More

First of all take taxi from the bus station it only costs little over 3£ unless you are ready to take the walk up the hill! Man of the house was really nice and helpfull. Room was big and clean with amazing view to the loch. Heating did work, you could turn it on after 6pm. Full breakfest was tasty... More

We were greeted politely by the hostess and taken to our room. Again, it involved a number of stairs and, strangely, had the washbasin in the room. However, it was clean and comfortable. We, again, ate a hearty breakfast, served by the host, who was only too willing to help plan the day for the foreign visitors. Another problem would... More
