Stayed here for 3 days. The rooms were clean and as comfortable as any hotel rooms. The furnishings matched and there were a few nice paintings on the walls. The Hotel is on the loch front and the views are lovely. It is a bit away from the town centre but there are buses. This is a 2 star hotel... more

stayed 11/2/08-15/2/08 and although the food was good there were some problems in the dining room. the tables are much too close together and although the staff are very attentive and tried very hard the food was not always hot. we stayed on the 4th floor with a wonderful veiw of the loch (we paid extra of course)and although the... more

A splendid setting and a great hotel. Book a room with a view to take advantage of the fine location. The snow capped hills look magnificent (Feb) Large restaurant, great service, wonderful food, and very friendly staff. Great home-made soups, good breakfasts and plenty to eat. Drinks are not too expensive either.( A pint and glass wine £5.35) A healthy... more

I wasn’t expecting too much from this hotel, so I suppose you could say my expectations were met. I stayed here for two nights with my folks as part of trip around Fort William and the surrounding area. The hotel doesn’t look very exciting on the outside, and the inside wasn’t very inspiring. The receptionist was very friendly and very... more

Stayed for a long weekend at this hotel which was excellent in every way. The staff were very pleasant and polite, the food was delicious, the view was spectacular and the hotel was immaculate. The bedroom was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We will certainly return for another visit. more

Booked this hotel through the website hotel Connexions and got a great deal of £50 per person for dinner bed and breakfast. Got to the hotel slightly earlier than checking in time (3 hrs early!) but the staff were great, checked to see if the room was ready and let us check in. We were in a standard room up... more

Stayed at the Caledonian for a 3 night weekend in October. Initially attracted by the offer of 3 nights bed and breakfast + dinner for an all in price of £180 for two. When you consider that 3 nights at the Premier Travel Inn would cost £165 excluding any meals at all, we decided on the Caledonian on the premise... more
