We stayed for 3 nights in executive room last week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Reception Staff were very friendly and helpful. Two receptionists (both names with K) were very helpful and advised us about sightseeing. Restaurant food and service was of good standard. Best part of hotel is location-very close to train station and visiting places. I will definitely... More

I stayed here on Thursday 28th August for a business trip in Fort William. The hotel is beside the main A82 overlooking Loch Linnhe although my room (15) overlooked a narrow lane at the side of the hotel. The hotel is also right beside the main shopping street with a small selection of shops and restaurants. I chose to eat... More

There are better hotels in Fort Bill, much better. The receptionist doesn't speak English (I had to repeat myself when asking where the toilet is and she had to mime the answer). Parking is a nightmare, only about 8 parking spaces for the whole hotel and the staff encourage you to "just park on the yellow line outside" - not... More

Parking a nightmare, rooms terrible mine had a Perspex window which I had trouble closing.bar had a light hanging down and was being fixed by I presume one of the owners, worrying if this is how important electrical safety is put. Food not good and breakfast the same.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in this well-managed, friendly hotel right in the centre of Fort William. The staff were charming and very helpful. The room was good (perhaps a bit small and not lavish) and the service was excellent. The set evening meal was absolutely excellent value at £12.50 per head. I was expecting an average meal with... I really enjoyed my stay here. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the rooms full of character. I thought they were quite roomy, actually, compared to other places we stayed on our trip. The colors were bright and cheerful. It was a short walk from the train station, and close to lots of shopping and restaurants. One note:... More

I booked what I hoped would be a comfortable hotel before starting my National 3 Peaks 24 hour Challenge. After an 18 hour journey, I was not disappointed with my room which although small was perfect for one person. I didn't eat at the hotel during the evening but breakfast was excellent with welcoming staff. Unfortunately the shower door had... More

Stayed at the Imperial Hotel for two nights before heading further up into the Highlands. It served as a welcome stop off, very central to the shopping facilities, the Loch, the train station and of course Ben Nevis The room was perfectly comfortable, with a good sized bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities and a TV, as well as the much needed... This must be one of the worst of Best Western Hotels, I'm afraid the hotel needs a serious refurb. The view of turquoise green tiles in the bathroom was not good. Choice of restaurant menu for evening meal was very poor, better to go into the town were there was some very good restaurants and inns with very good selection... More
