This is roughly what you would expect from Best Western - an older building with some quirks in a very central location. We got in quite late and may have got one of the last rooms available so you could well do better but the room we got was disappointing. The decor was fine but the bathroom window looked onto... I travel to Fort Wiiliam two to three times a month and always stay at the Imperial hotel. Having stayed at hotels throughout the UK and Europe I can only say that the Imperial is up there with the very best. The rooms are spotless, the welcome you receive from the manager down is exceptional and the standard of food... More

My father and I always holiday in Fort William during May and this hotel has become our regular accomodation The staff are very welcoming and helpful, the cooked breakfasts just what are needed before a long days walk. There are few hotels that I / we have stayed at where the receptionist, when asked for a spare key for my... More

Looks ok from the outside but inside decor questionable. No hot water for a morning shower. Damp smell in room. Lumpy bed. Food poor.

The hotel is well located in the centre of Fort William, a short walk from the station and just down from the main street. The room I was staying in was at the back of the hotel and for the price paid quite small. Just a single bed with a tiny bathroom and a small cupboard. However, the room was... More

We arrived on Sat 14th of April for a 1 night stay ( thank goodness) On having read previous reviews on this hotel, I noted the main one was poor or no water pressure to the showers, but this was to be corrected. at least 6 Months ago. On arrival in our room I checked the shower, but alas the... More

This is a lovely hotel, beautifully decorated, the bedroom we had was gorgeous, corner site with huge bay window, four poster bed, tastefully decorated and not too modern in keeping with the age of the building. Our bathroom was fantastic, jacuzzi bath which we didn't realise we were getting when we booked so a real bonus. It took a few... More

We were upgraded to the Imperial room (suite?) when we arrived with no explanation; I presume it was because the hotel seemed empty. It was an enormous room, with a bathroom so large that their was a pillar in it. I've never seen a larger bathroom outside of a Russian palace. It had a good-size jacuzzi tub. The bed was... More
