I had booked a room at this hotel. We drove three hours in heavy rain to get to the hotel. We we got about 10 miles from the hotel we were turned back by the highway department because the road to Fort William was washed out. We went back to a restaurant nearby and immediately called the hotel to advised... More

We were showing off some of Scotland to New Zealand visitors and as part of our trip had booked 2 twin rooms for one night in The Stronlossit Inn. On our arrival (after a full day's driving) we were greeted with the news that only one room appeared to have been reserved for us and all other rooms were apparently... More

The hotel over looks the magnificent Grey Corries however it was dark when we entered but it seemed much darker inside. The food was unbelievably bad I got a grey burger that looked like it had been boiled, this was then replaced by partially cooked white chips and a deep fried piece of gammon full of grease, this was beautifully... We only came here to eat but felt that the meals are overpriced for what they are.Meals very uninspiring. My burger was not the quality I expect from a restaurant and my husband's and son's fish was reported to be a bit tasteless.Could have cooked better food at home. The atmosphere isn't over friendly .Wouldn 't have gone back again.

This is the first time I have ever reviewed a hotel, However, I really felt the need to inform people of our appalling experience in this hotel! I have no idea how anyone has given this hotel any sort of praising, they must know the owner, As it was worst hotel I have ever stayed in!! The landlord was extremely... More

On the plus side, the Stronlossit was serving meals on a busy bank holiday Saturday evening. (We had tried the wonderful Ben Nevis Inn but there had a full waiting list and politely said they would not take further orders.) On the downside at the Stonlossit we waited more than 85 mins to be served and ended up being rudely... More

Easy to find, very calm and comfortable. the room was not very spacious but clean and enough for one night. The restaurant was not very expensive, food was excellent and the service was very nice. We would definitely stay there again if we return in this area.

we made a reservation the day before for a double room for the 10th august 2014, using otel.com, that immediately charged the amount of the room on my card. Stronlossit was the only hotel with a free room, in the area of Fort William around 20 miles. We also needed a cot for my 2 years old baby, but the... More
