We booked for four nights and this is one B and B I will never forget, this is a very honest review, we turned down a complete refund in order to leave feed back with a clear conscious. The room was filthy I could write my name in the dust and the bathroom should have had a health warning on the... The property is advertised as luxurious. Initial impression on arrival was of a grand Victorian house in well maintained gardens. On entry things changed due to the strong stale smell probably from uncleaned carpets. Our room was far from luxurious having cobwebs around the central light fitting, a large wardrobe containing only 1No. coat hanger, the bed was clean and... More

Our rooms were nice and spacious (paid extra for Loch view). Bathroom OK. Breakfast ok but expected something more than just the usual eggs etc breakfast as Scottish breakfast was advertised...? how about some kippers or even a spot of blood pudding? If you're looking for a B & B with reasonable levels of personal service (promotional material of local... More

I would have given this B&B 3 stars, but it gets 2 because of its complete lack of hospitality. PROS: - Walking distance to downtown - Free onsite parking - Updated bathroom - Interesting Victorian home (a Stephen King novel could take place here. That may be a negative for some...like my husband, but I found it interesting.) - Loch... More

The room is so so different to the pictures one is compelled to leave a review to try and prevent other travellers being ripped off like i was. I was Accommodated in a back attachment to the property which was incredibly run down and in dire need of a renovation. Bathroom had 20 yr old lino floor, no curtain on... More

Stayed two nights at the Dalchreggan House B&B during our tour of the Scottish Highlands. We were disappointed not to get one of the rooms that overlook the loch but this, as always, is luck of the draw. The B&B was full so we had to take the only room available - number 6 at the back on the ground... More

Feel compelled to leave a review here after what I feel is a misrepresentation of this accommodation on its website. Dalchreggan House cannot be further away from the "luxury bed and breakfast guest accommodation" it purports to be. We were greeted by a less-than-enthusiastic lady on the day of check-in. Upon entering the room I was shocked by our small... More

Dalchreggan is ideally located being just across the road from Loch Linnhe. Our room was spotless and well appointed and had a view across the Loche. Breakfast was the usual full English and generally met our expectations. However, we were disappointed by the rather strange greeting we received when we arrived and by the smell of cigarette smoke that emanated... More

We had a splendid stay at this B&B. Our room was lovely and big and the bathroom was fitted out to a very high standard. The breakfast was delicious. We only saw the owner on arrival and were not given any advice or guidance on where was worth a visit/good to eat in the area. We did however find leaflets... More

Lovely looking house, easy to find on the Achintore Road, plenty of parking, great location less than 10 minutes walk to the main street. We stayed in the twin room in the annexe which was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was large too with a good powerful shower and plenty of hot water. Whilst the furniture in the room...
