We stayed here for one night whilst touring the area, the room was lovely, quality bedding , comfy bed and modern shower room. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast , would definitely stay again. A short walk from the centre of town no need for a taxi.

As with another recent reviewer I cannot understand what the gripes are with this property (unless it was a one-off issue). Building perhaps early Victorian or Georgian but very sympathetically restored and kept, external painting had started as we left. Lovely huge rooms. We had room 2 at the front with huge bay window and glorious view over the loch.... More

dont know what the gripes are with this place. its an old georgian merchants house traditionally built and modernised sympathetically with large airy bedrooms ours as quiet looking onto large garden and shielded from road noise. .we found it to be spotlessly clean and no problems with any aspect of our stay- breakfast was freshly cooked to order and hadnt... It is feasible to consider why an establishment is the only one to have rooms available – a bit like choosing restaurants – the busy ones are usually the best for value, at least. We needed accommodation to serve our booking on The Jacobite and Dalchreggan was Hobson's Choice. Mr Mount could be termed 'dour' – not exactly offensive, occasionally... More

We booked for four nights and this is one B and B I will never forget, this is a very honest review, we turned down a complete refund in order to leave feed back with a clear conscious. The room was filthy I could write my name in the dust and the bathroom should have had a health warning on the... The property is advertised as luxurious. Initial impression on arrival was of a grand Victorian house in well maintained gardens. On entry things changed due to the strong stale smell probably from uncleaned carpets. Our room was far from luxurious having cobwebs around the central light fitting, a large wardrobe containing only 1No. coat hanger, the bed was clean and... More

Our rooms were nice and spacious (paid extra for Loch view). Bathroom OK. Breakfast ok but expected something more than just the usual eggs etc breakfast as Scottish breakfast was advertised...? how about some kippers or even a spot of blood pudding? If you're looking for a B & B with reasonable levels of personal service (promotional material of local... More

I would have given this B&B 3 stars, but it gets 2 because of its complete lack of hospitality. PROS: - Walking distance to downtown - Free onsite parking - Updated bathroom - Interesting Victorian home (a Stephen King novel could take place here. That may be a negative for some...like my husband, but I found it interesting.) - Loch... More

The room is so so different to the pictures one is compelled to leave a review to try and prevent other travellers being ripped off like i was. I was Accommodated in a back attachment to the property which was incredibly run down and in dire need of a renovation. Bathroom had 20 yr old lino floor, no curtain on... More

Stayed two nights at the Dalchreggan House B&B during our tour of the Scottish Highlands. We were disappointed not to get one of the rooms that overlook the loch but this, as always, is luck of the draw. The B&B was full so we had to take the only room available - number 6 at the back on the ground... More
