A group of 10 of us stayed after a days cycling, the owner made us a fresh pot of tea as soon as we arrived, and gave us a key to come and go. Breakfast was nice, rooms were adequate for the budget, so no complaints at all.

Myself and 3 other motorcyclists stayed in early May. We had the room with a double bed and a side room with two bunks. There was more than enough room for all our gear. The beds are comfortable and we all slept well. Breakfast, full Scottish, was more than ample and very tasty. We didn't use the waffle maker but... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend for three nights in December and really enjoyed it. It was clean and comfortable and Liz (very helpful and accommodating) was happy to run me and my boyfriend into town/pick us up (we don't have a car), though we chose to walk it instead sometimes (around half an hour), along the loch side. Generous... More

Likes- parking and fresh waffles. Hates-Small bedroom and no view. Toilets small and only fit for hobbits. No soap or shampoo. Only one egg for breakfast. Towel not fresh and smelled damp. Plywood wall. Dirty kettle.

We only stayed for one night, the bed was really comfortable and the room was a good size. The breakfast was delightful with a fantastic view over the loch and the owners were really pleasant. Would recommend this b&b to anyone.

Stayed only one night. The room was clean but needs a redecoration. There is no shampoo/ body wash in the bathroom so lucky i brought some with me. The rooms walls are very thin, there's no privacy feeling like in a hotel. Breakfast was too greasy for my taste, beautiful view from the dining room window though. Overall, it was... More

Many B&Bs along the front but most were shut as it was out of season. However, Alltonside was open and welcoming. Very clean, tidy, friendly, hassle-free. Nice breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Recommended.

Just back and really enjoyed our stay here. Stayed for 2 nights with my fiancé (aged 26 & 32) and found this to be great value for money. Upon arrival we were shown our room and given our key for both the room and entrance door so we could come and go as we pleased. Breakfast was fab and Liz... More

We stayed four nights at this Bed & Breakfast and could not have felt more welcome by the host. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was more than amble to keep us fueled up ! Access to Fort William and surrounding area was easy and there was a great view across the loch from... More
