My friend stayed here for two nights earlier this week after having completed the Great Glen Way - we had stayed nearby previously but that place was no longer offering b&b so we had to look elsewhere. What a find. A lovely, perfectly clean and very comfortable house - huge room and that includes the bathroom also. Lovely friendly hosts.... More

I stayed here 1 night (after walking the West Highland Way) and I very much liked it. My room was to the back of the house in an annexe and it was enormous and very comfortable indeed. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts are very welcoming, kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Just left after 2 night stay with Mildred & Robert and we were very impressed with the accommodation and breakfast was excellent. They were so helpful and friendly, a wonderful experience. It was like staying with family.

Mildred and Robert couldn't do enough for us. They were in on my surprise "top of Ben Nevis" proposal to my girlfriend and arranged champagne as requested and then even bought us a card, flowers and a bottle of wine! Friendly, chatty and welcoming - we will definitely stop here again if we're back in the area.

We arranged to stay at GLENGYLE B&B for only one night before the house was formally closed due to a family event. Everything was absolutely perfect and we intended to stay one more day in Fort William. It was a wonderful gesture of hospitality when our hosts accepted to extend our accommodation period! Thank you once again!

My Father and I were due to stay here before and after climbing Ben Nevis on the August Bank Holiday weekend. I rang and made the reservation about 6 weeks prior. We were flying from London to Glasgow and then driving to Fort William and were due to arrive at around 10pm. I informed the owner (Mildred) that we would... More

Glengyle House is a first class B&B, run professionally and warmly by Mildred and John. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Breakfast is an excellent choice, wonderfully cooked and served in a well appointed dining room. Look no further.

We went to Fort William to climb Ben Nevis - some of us didn't due to the awful weather! But those who did were very grateful to have such a lovely place to come back to. The rooms were spotless, the beds were comfortable and the welcome warm. The breakfast was great. We could see nothing wrong with the kettle!
