After seven days walking the West Highland Way I'm glad I'm glad to say the best accommodation came last: Paul and Aileen were absolutely wonderful hosts and I can't imagine a better way to end the walk than Braeside House! Also very near to the official end of the walk so you don't have to walk much extra...

Paul and Aileen made us feel utterly welcome during our stay. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The breakfast was tasty -- the venison sausage was excellent -- and the surroundings couldn't be beat. Thanks for a great stay. We highly recommend their hospitality.

We stayed at Braeside House during a 4 night stay in Scotland. This was our second stop off and we weren't disappointed. Situated in a lovely quiet street with fabulous views it was perfect. Paul and Aileen were perfect hosts and gave lots of welcome advice for our day in the mountains and surrounding area. The rooms were lovely and... More

Aileen and Paul were great from the moment I booked, making sure that all needs were catered for. Great selection of gluten-free food for a family member, too, and extremely tasty breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean, bathrooms also clean and everything working, parking just outside the house... can't really ask for anything more from a B&B, and all... More

Paul and Aileen...what can we say...? We stayed the weekend for Valentine this year, coming up and returning on the Caledonian Sleeper from London (this, in itself is an excellent experience...). However, the hospitality at Braeside was second to none. We were looked after like we were their own. The food was excellent and the room more than comfortable. The... More

Just returned from a 2 night stay at Braeside House - thank you Paul & Aileen for making it a memorable one. From picking us up on arrival to dropping our case at the station just before we left your hospitality was excellent - like staying with friends. The breakfast, room (with fantastic views) & location were all superb -... More

Lovely warm welcome for the three of us. Room was very clean, and bathroom looks to have just been refurbished. Best B&B breakfast we've ever had and a view to match. The center of Fort William is only a 5 min walk away. Top Stuff.

Lovely night at Braeside, en-route to Isle of Rum. Amazing view over the loch, with a lovely room and a top class breakfast. Paul and Aileen treated us like old friends. Far and away the best place we've stayed in Fort William, and excellent value. And to top it all, very dog-friendly!

I've just spent the best part of three months staying at Braeside House, Monday to Friday whilst attending a Commercial Divers training course at the Underwater Centre in Fort William. Huge thanks to Paul and Aileen for looking after me so well for so long. I've enjoyed a lovely comfortable room, fantastic food and very warm and friendly hosts. Definitely... More
