Stayed in the Rowen self catering apartment and could not ask for more. Warm, friendly and very relaxed. Apartment had everything you need there was even a fully dressed tree waiting for us on arrival. It was a real home from home!

Received a warm welcome after 4pm, room comfortable, breakfast plentiful. House is in a beautiful location within walking distance of the town centre. We started our walking holiday from The Balcarres and found this to be the only B&B without wifi which I would have found useful.

Located not far from the city centre of Fort William, this B&B is worth every of their 4 stars. The people are friendly,breakfast is good and plenty and the rooms are big,clean and quiet. Another plus are their laundr facilities

Balcarres was a wonderful find in Fort William! I was lucky enough to spend two nights at this lovely guest home and loved it! The roome I stayed in (#2, w/two double beds) was well-appointed, comfy and had a great, ensuite bathroom to boot!
