I came here on winter 2015 (23rd December 2015) The room and bed are clean. The staffs are friendly. I LOVE THE COMMON ROOM SO MUCH! It was literally the prettiest and coziest hostel common room I've ever seen in my life. When I arrived at 12AM, I saw someone plays guitar and sang while other visitors laying on that... More

We found the manager was very nice and accommodating to us. The staff are friendly. The location is nice and the hostel is good with a warm firm and comfortable environment. There is free tea and coffee.

Home Sweet Home. Every member of staff were happy, friendly and up for a chat. I felt welcomed and felt right at home as soon as I walked in the door. The breakfast was amazing, one of the staff members made scones. The accommodation is spacious with large living areas (amazing views of the snow) and everything was clean and... More

Last time I stayed after walking the West Highland Way. This time was before starting on the Great Glen Way with my better half. We shared a bunk bed in a room with four bun beds and it was fun. The bunks were comfortable and I got a good night's sleep. I wish I could remember the name of the... More

It's a hostel close to the trainstatin and busstop, but that's the only reason why I stayed here and because I arrived late after (10 pm) in Fort William. It's a real backpackershostel, crappy beds, matrasses are really thin. Kitchen is okay. I didn't use the showers, they were not clean.

Fort William Backpackers is a welcoming place for the budget traveller. Its location is superb - fantastic views, quiet neighbourhood away from the more touristy part of town, yet just a ten minute walk away from the station, the main supermarket area and the starting point of the walks around Cow Hill. It benefits from a cosy lounge with a fireplace,... More

Arrived early afternoon, left our luggage and went into Fort William, a 5 minute walk from the hostel (downhill). Returned to a warm welcome from Kelsey and were placed in an 8 bed dorm with bunk beds (7 females, bent on climbing Ben Nevis for charity). The hostel was rather old and tired but clean and very comfortable. We could... More

I'd just finished running the west highland way so was very glad to see this place! It's very much an old school backpackers hostel set in a big old house- big lounge, lots of chill out areas, big dorms with very comfortable beds. The live-in staff are friendly but not over-bearing, and the whole place has a nice little community... More
