Wonderful cozy hostel situated on the heart of Fort William with friendly staff, big kitchen and lounge room with a view. Beds are comfortable and showers hot after a day of hiking. Highly recommended

I really liked this place because it was the best price-quality ratio for me. It's the best place to meet people who like to travel, people like you and me who want to visit Scotland. The hostel's team will always give you advice for your travel. About the hostel, showers are good, wi fii is good, you can do a... More

Went to Edinburgh to visit a friend but ended up heading up to Fort William. Stayed in the Backpackers before and really enjoyed it. It rained a bit, and the place was well kept. There was free, tea coffee and hot chocolate which was excellent. The view from the lounge was my favorite part, I think. The two ladies or... More

Really poorly run Hostel.Needs a lick of paint and a good clean. Had a friendly vibe at first but when we found out that 5 people had somehow hijacked our room(perhaps a double booking). We were obviously quite annoyed after traveling quite a while and climbing ben nevis(we realised this at 12:30AM as we were late off the mountain and... More

Stayed at the hostel during from 5th to 7th of June. Unfortunately most of the place was booked with a group. The highlight was the night from Sat to Sun, most of the group came back 2 am from a pub crawl, knocked on all doors to find a guitar player and then partied till 5 am. We got up... More

"Stayed" here on 12/6/15. The location is awesome, and the hostel has a chilled vibe to it. Myself and 3 friends hiked Ben Nevis and returned at 11pm, went for food. The problem started when we went to bed, our paid room had been double booked and 4 people were sound asleep in are beds. As you can imagine after... More

This is the best place to stay if you want to tackle Ben Nevis and discover the mountains around. The hostel is very clean and super cosy. I really enjoyed my stay in the hostel. It had it all: a great location near the nature trails and the town centre, a professional and laid-back staff who always helped me with different sort of arrangements, many other like-minded backpackers as I am, and good kitchen facilities to make and store your own food. But if you come to... More

The hostel's best feature is without any doubt the common room: cosy, offering good views over Fort William, it feels just like home. The rooms are a bit small and the beds are not really good but they are alright. The kitchen and eating area are clean, even if they are small regarding the number of guests. The staff is... More

Hi there! Thanks for staying with us! We're glad you enjoyed the cosy lounge. We are in the process of replacing the mattresses in the room and waiting from the manufacturer. It does tend to get a bit busy in the hostel and a house converted hostel makes space tricky but we do our best to provide the best space... More

Staff were friendly and helpful, which counts for a lot in my book. Always keen to offer advice when it's needed. I was also glad to know they offer mixed dorms, as they seem to be one of the only companies in the UK offering such. Good value for money in my opinion. The view is great and the skype... More

Hi there Marc, Thanks for taking the time to write your review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay, and glad that we could be of service to you on things to do in the Fort! We're sorry the showers were looking poorly. We've taken your words under advice and tried to improve our cleaning routine around them. As for our... More
