Torlinnhe is situated about a 20 minute stroll from the centre of Fort William with beautiful uninterrupted views of Loch Linnhe and the Ardnamurchan peninsula. If you arrive by car there is ample parking space off road. The information provided in the room says this is their 7th season at Torlinnhe but the modern, comfortable furniture and fittings look brand... More

It was one of the best stay for me. Nice homely feeling, very clean throughout the house. Modern and comfortable furniture. The best service, great breakfast. Amazing view over the lake and a mountain. Exceptionally recommended.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this friendly guesthouse. The rooms are rather on the small side and our bathroom was absolutely tiny. Yet the room was tastefuly appointed, comfortable and very clean. The hosts were very friendly and good at giving advice about the area. Best thing of all was breakfast. There was a choice of yummy cooked-to-order breakfast... More

It is good to hear that you enjoyed our hospitality at Torlinnhe Fraugast . We are sorry you were disappointed by the size of our bedrooms. We provide Superking size beds in our double/twin rooms for our guest comfort and they do take rather more space than a small standard double would. Our shower cubicles are also larger than those... I booked Torlinnhe as it was very close to Ben Nevis and the purpose of the trip was a birthday treat for my mother's 70th. She wanted to walk Ben Nevis!! We arrived a little early but Andy was happy for us to check in and settle into our room. We had a wonderful room at the back of the... More

Thanks for taking the time to post your review Paula S. It is fantastic to hear that you both felt comfortable and enjoyed your stay with us. You really were lucky with the weather which hopefully made the trek up the Ben very slightly less arduous than it would have been on a bad day. Reaching the summit of Ben... More

This is a top quality B&B sat on Loch Eil approximately one mile south of Fort William. It is very modern with probably the best breakfast selection I have ever seen. Andy and Sue welcomed us with tea and a selection of chocolate biscuits and were always on hand for any requests. We were asked if we needed a lift... More

Thanks for the kind review Scook1973 it is much appreciated. I know the customer is always right but thought I should perhaps just confirm that we overlook Loch Linnhe not Loch Eil. It is only a few miles different as Loch Eil is just around the corner but..... Hope you don't mind the correction? So glad you enjoyed the breakfast... More

How did I not confirm my review of Torlinnhe last July 2013? Last july my French family and I toured Scotland staying with Andy & Sue at Torlinnhe for 3 nights It was then, and still is now, by far the best B&B we've been to. One cannot speak highly enough of this jem by Loch Linnhe. Sue welcomed us... More

The forgetting to confirm thing happens quite a lot I think Joe P, but its great that you have done it now - thank you. We remember you well - I am still lining up my cutlery nice and tidily when I lay the tables for breakfast!! Thank you especially for your very kind words, it is great to know... More

My wife and I recently stayed 4 nights with Sue and Andy while hillwalking and sightseeing in the area. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and told that anything we needed to just ask. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast each morning was delicious. I would highly recommend Torlinnhe to anyone and... More

Thank you for the kind review SheilaS742014. Good to hear that you enjoyed the breakfasts and of course the brilliant views of the loch from our lounge window. We saw the porpoise(s?) again the other day - just meandering their way towards Corran as the guests ate breakfast. Needless to say another postponed breakfast session while guests stood at the... Thank you Sue and Andy! The breakfasts were delicious and the accommodation of an exceptional standard. I have no hesitation in recommending your B&B and... More

Our 333rd review - another milestone and obviously a lucky number for us! Thank you Mckale for your kind words. We look forward to it! Our... More
