A very pleasant establishment in a good location, on the outskirts of Fort William close to both the A82 to Inverness and the A830 "Road to the Isles". A great welcome from hosts Ally and Iain who did their best to make this a home from home. Bedroom well equipped and the bed very comfortable......with a terrific view of Ben... More

We had the twin room at Cuil na Sithe, with a very nice bathroom and a good view (turn head to the right and you’ll see Ben Nevis). The beds were a little too soft for our taste, but surely good enough to sleep in for two nights. The doors to the unoccupied rooms were open so when passing by... More

Ally was a most gracious host. And what a special person she is, ask about her charity cycling... A beautiful, well done room, super clean, an excellent mattress/comfy bed, just lovely overall. After so many cooked breakfasts around Scotland mum and I were rather pleased to have the fresh fruit platter option offered here, it was beautifully presented and just... More

I have stayed on a few occasions in the past and wouldn't be able to find a friendly welcome anywhere and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when I am in the area. Iain & Alyson make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door, there is always a cup of tea and biscuit on the... More

We stayed with the Stewarts in October 2011 for a long weekend of walking and outdoor adventure. The warmth and friendliness we experienced from alyson and Iain was just as amazing as the scenery we enjoyed. We arrived earlier than the average guest (10am) as we had taken the sleeper train from London. This was not a problem for our... More

Iain and Alyson went out of their way to help us with a medical problem. My 87 year old dad had a very bad eye infection and Aly, a paramedic could give valuable assistance. We really felt blessed. Wonderful warm hospitality, thank you!

What a great place! Very, very clean and comfortable throughout! Comfortable bed [romantic four poster with canopy!] and the best porage and bacon in Scotland! Could have spent the entire day listening to Ally's funny stories about chickens loose in the living room, and various things that are part of daily life there! Felt very welcome and want to say...
