What an amazing place. Friendly and a home from home . Could have sat in the bar all night chewing the fat with Michael what a great guy. So welcoming and a mine of info about the local area. Food was amazing as was the William Wallace Ale. Don't miss the breakfast it's very tasty . The rooms are fantastic... More

A lovely stay outside the busy city. Close to town, but away from the traffic. Nice rooms and a very friendly owner. Michael is an outstanding host. Room was very comfy and one of the few guest houses I have visited that has ground floor rooms. Important for my wife, who has a problem with stairs. The property is large... More

The B&B is hard to find but easy to get to when you know location. Also very close to A9 and shopping like Tasco. Rooms and food very good. Especially like private estate - trees and stream. Plenty of parking. Can not see any neighbors.

Lovely house on lovely grounds a little out of the town centre so you probably need a car. This makes it a quiet and restful place though. Rooms and bathrooms are quite spacious and wifi is excellent. Breakfast is extensive and delicious! Michael is a wealth of knowledge if you need to know anything about the area.

I stayed in the hotel for two nights while attending the Highland Snowman car rally. I was met at the door by Michael, who owns the hotel with his wife and shown to my well furnished room. The hotel is set in lovely grounds and within an hour I was watching a deer move around the wooded area. The hotel... More

We loved this charming and graceful hotel which is everything you hope you will find in your travels. Unfortunately we only had time left on our trip to stay there for two nights before heading back to London and then to the US. We would have spent several days in this hotel as there is much to see and do... More

My wife and I stayed here a few nights during our Scotland honeymoon. We absolutely loved it. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the owner was very friendly and knowledgable of the area. He helped point us in the right direction to get a Kilt made, as well providing good conversation during breakfast. The breakfast was delicious; we were... More

We're so pleased you enjoyed your honeymoon with us, thank you for the kind review. I was very pleased to be able to help you explore the area and to find a kiltmaker that would make a kilt for your husband. The badgers are fun to watch, just such bad table manners. More

Only stayed for one night, lovely big house and beautiful gardens. Comfortable room too. Michael is very attentive, he had the door open for us after we parked the car and promptly showed us our room. We didn't have an evening meal here as my husband wanted to watch football and there was no TV in the bar, the menu... More

Thank you for your review. We're very pleased to hear you were comfortable and enjoyed our breakfasts. We do go to a lot of trouble to source the best of local produce for all our food. Although its not served immediately I think most people appreciate the fact that its all cooked to order. You suggested we might play music... More

We spent a night here last year. The owner was very kind and smiling, he helped us taking our luggages in the room, and what a room!! The bed was the most confortable one in all our holiday, the furnitures were very elegant, the building ancient and beautiful, with a wonderful garden and a small river. The breakfast was very...
