I stayed here for three nights and it could not have been better. A large quiet room, and Mrs Noble was at the door to welcome me. Mr Noble provides excellent breakfasts, very good coffee, and the black pudding and hash browns are just right. Mrs Noble is a fund of useful information, and knows the area very well. The... More

Clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious room with nice view, great breakfasts. Located around the corner and on a much quieter street than the majority of the guest houses! About a 10 (or less) min. walk to downtown & train station and the lovely walk along River Ness. Short walk to Caledonian Canal. Margaret is a wonderful hostess (Angus is usually in... More

I really enjoyed my stay at Glendoune. The proprietors are friendly and charming and make you feel very much welcome and at home. It's small enough to retain a very personal touch. The en suite bath was particularly clean and bright and the room itself was quite spacious. The full Scottish breakfast was the best I'd had in a week's... More

We started our bicycle tour to the Outer Hebrides at Glendoune B&B where we stayed two nights in a clean room with nice beds and a powerful shower with big towels. Everything you need to start a good holiday time. Margaret and Angus where ever so helpful and nice. After 3 weeks cycling we spent our last night again at... More

The place is located close to the city and the ness island walk. The room was big and clean. The host was very helpful and nice. But there aren't any signs to indicate which rooms are private or any bell or else to give a sign that you needed help. Furthermore remember to say if you need your breakfast at... More

Margaret and Angus were very friendly and helpful hosts at this excellent B&B. The room was spacious, clean and well-appointed, and breakfast was top-notch. We were cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats and were able to store our bikes securely. The town centre is only a few minutes walk away. Thoroughly recommended!

This was our last stop after our cycling trip to the Outer Hebrides for 5 days. We got the ferry from Oban to Barra and started cycling throughout the Hebrides finishing at Stornoway. The took the ferry from Stornaway across to Ullapool and the final leg was cycling from Ullapool to Inverness. We arrived at Glendoune rather tired and we stayed... More

Margaret was very nice and friendly and she gave us some good tips what we can see around and where is good place for have a dinner. I wanted to book another nights there (in June´14) but they were fully booked, unfortunately. But... More

My husband and I have recently come back from our trip to Inverness, where we stayed at the Glendoune B&B. We were very happy with our decision to stay at Glendoune - it is a charming and well managed B&B with cosy, well equipped rooms. It's hardly a 10 min walk from the city center and the train station, making... More

We had a lovely stay at the Glendoune B & B and from the moment we arrived Margaret made us both feel extremely welcome and at home which was such a comfort after a long week of travel. Both Margaret and Angus are lovely people and Margaret is very knowledgeable about the area giving us ideas as to where to... More
