Wilma was very welcoming and kind. We were lucky to find a parking space right in front of the B&B which is perfectly located as well. We stayed in a room with an enormous bathroom. We had a great night of sleep and a very nice breakfast in the morning.

Stayed for the Loch Ness marathon weekend and can't fault the place. Friendly hosts, great breakfast and ideal location for the town. Great value for money and highly recommended. I will return for the next visit to Inverness

We stayed four nights here at the end of August and I must say that it was our best stay in Scotland. We had a pleasant room with a huge en suite overlooking Wilma's lovely garden. The room was amply appointed and maintained and very clean. And though I'm allergic to cats (despite adoring them very much) I nearly forgot... More

Each time we visit Carbisdale is better than the last. Wilma and Colin are delightful folks that you would do well to meet. Their accommodations are as wonderful as their hospitality. Not only do you get a great place to stay, but you get an amazing homemade, locally sourced breakfast each morning. They cater to vegetarians and vegans alike! If... More

Nice clean room small but cosy for single use good ensuite and very handy for walking into centre of town. Owners very nice and the breakfast is really good especially the fresh cut fruit and a great cooked breakfast.Only negative was the floorboards are very creaky and walls in my room seemed very thin as I could hear a couple... We stayed here for four nights at the end of June. The owners, Colin and Wilma couldn't have been more friendly and everything we needed was provided. we were too late to book the en-suite guest room but the bathroom was nearby, spacious and immaculate. Great breakfasts too with yummy fruit salad and cereal as well as a choice of... More

We stayed for a two day summit and as part of the Expo. Carbisdale was very pleasant to stay in, on a quiet street but only a couple of minutes walk into town. The rooms were quiet too, and the service was very good, the cooked breakfast was delicious with perfect poached eggs!

My wife and I stayed at Carbisdale on our 1st overseas trip in 2007, and we have been back to Carbisdale 2 times since. Wilma & Colin are kind and welcoming hosts, and have made our stay delightful each time. I have read other posts about it being nothing special and ordinary, but I am afraid those guests must have... To avoid for single person as the price is almost the same as for a couple in B&B, but I don't eat for 2. 66 pounds for a single in B&B and 68 for a couple in B&B. I asked why but no other answer than : "it is the price". The room for this price was really disappointing, old... More
