Excellent location, quaint and plush. Comfy beds, very friendly and helpful host, breakfast was delicious and generous. We visited without a car and it was very easy to walk down the stairs and around town.

This guesthouse is walking distance to both the railway station and the Castle - although be prepared to climb as it is situated above the main street (from the railway station there are steps straight up to the B&B, but if you are coming by car you can drive up). I had a lovely large room with twin beds and... More

I very warm welcome from our host George, despite arriving later than expected, a really comfortable bed in a lovely room and a beautiful breakfast in the morning, what more can you want? Very handy for the railway station and the bus station and hordes of restaurants and shops all within ten minutes via the Market Brae steps (good exercise... More

Stayed here in April. Very central if you take the steps down to town. Lots of eating places and shopping within 5 min. walk. Very nice, not a bad word to say. Host was very accommodating and even assisting to park my car, fantastic Rooms more than pleasant and great sitting room for quiet chatting late in the evening. Breakfast... More

The Ryeford is perfectly located just a short walk from Inverness centre. Joan greeted us warmly and helped us make decisions about what to do during our stay. Our room was tiny but comfortable - unfortunately the shower was a mere trickle. A good Scottish Breakfast sent us on our way feeling that we would return to the Ryeford when... More

Sometimes it's a little odd for 31-year-old to be in a bed-and-breakfast by himself. But this bed-and-breakfast was a nice change of pace from hostels and hotels that I've been staying in. George was very accommodating and nice. The breakfast was wonderful but a little too much food for what I could eat. The room was very quiet and clean.... More

As someone travelling in the UK for the first time, Ryeford was everything I expected from a typical scottish guest house: a warm, openminded and friendly landlady, adorable rooms and full scottish breakfast served by a stern but polite maid. We got recommendations from the landlady for restaurants and events that fitted our desires. Being located close to the city... More

Stayed for one night but we returned later in our trip. Good B&B, nice and clean. Comfortable room of good size including en suite. Good breakfast and charming hostess. Helpfully provided off-street parking to the rear. Only minor recommendation would be to have available WiFi for guests.

We stayed for 3 nights at Ryeford Guesthouse. Our brightly en-suite room was facing to the street, however, it wasn´t quite noisy. The room is nicely done up with a british charm. There were noises of the other guests but in my opinion it´s the same to a hotel. You´ve just heard, that someone else were present. The Guesthouse is... More

The best thing about this guest house is the location. It's a short walk to the center of town and street parking with a parking permit from the B&B was great. Our interaction with the host online and upon arrival was pleasant. He was very helpful and thorough. However, we didn't receive an orientation to the room probably because of... More
