Dunhallin House is a well kept B&B situated in the outskirts of Inverness. Good position and great facilities nearby. Unfortunately the hosts are overstretched and (the male host in particular) unable to interact with customers in a civilised manner. If you are in his age bracket (late 50s, early 60s) and travellinf for leisure, great. If you are a bit... More

I recall this guest at Dunhallin even although their visit was almost a year ago. The overwhelming majority of guests visiting Dunhallin are lovely people. Occasionally however (about once every four years on average) we have a visitor who requires to be given guidance on the expected standards of behaviour. Usually a quiet word is sufficient, although sometimes a firmer... More

We had an overnight stay at Dunhallin to break a long journey, and were really delighted with our choice. It was comfortable and welcoming - more reminiscent of a classy boutique hotel than my expectations of a B&B. Definitely a class above. I noticed that they offer longer breaks for guided walking tours to the mountains, and suspect this would... More

I had one of my best B&B experience with Dunhallin House. Room was clean and packed with complete suite of facilities such as a mini fridge which is not common for most B&B. Breakfast was a sumptuous 2-course with fair range of choices. The common area was cozy for interacting with other guests over whisky and port on the B&B.... More

A very comfortable bed, nicely appointed room in a lovely home, fantastic breakfast, very friendly and obliging hosts and staff. Short walk to a golfing complex serving good pub-style food. A bit of a walk to town though if you don't want to take the car.

I stayed at Dunhallin House while attending a wedding in Inverness. I was made very welcome by Sandy. When I was shown my room, I just thought wow! how lovely. It was very spacious, and included a leather settee and large television, which did not compromise on the rest of the room space. The bed linen was beautiful with matching cushions... More

We spent three nights with Margaret at her lovely B & B. The beds were more than comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and the breakfasts were unbelievable! Truly! There are no words for the fabulousness of Margaret's breakfast. Would love her porridge with honey, cinnamon and banana recipe! Looking forward to another visit one day!

The house owner is very sweet. Guest can order breakfast for tmr morning. Very delicious. Also, there are a lot of books which guest can read after retrun back at night. There are a lot garnitures in the house. It is very quiet here. And there is a beautiful black cat which my wife like her very much.

Very clean and friendly hosts. The breakfast was enormous! Felt bad about not eating it all. We didn't want to stay in the city centre. This was a good alternative. Took a short taxi ride to the city.
