Hello UKHawkeye Thanks so much for your kind review, and we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and want to come back again! We are so lucky to live so close to town, yet not to get any of the noise that being really central can sometimes bring. We look forward to seeing you again on your next... More

This is an excellent Guest House in a lovely part of Inverness, minutes from city centre. Our room was perfect, no noise from street or other guests. The breakfast was very good and owners lovely, very welcoming.

Hello Eveytoot Thanks so much for your kind review, and we're so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We're very lucky to live on a really quiet road, and the new carpets and thick walls in the house certainly do keep the noise levels to a minimum - unfortunately that does mean that people make me jump all... My friends and I stayed in the beautifully appointed room with three beds. The bathroom had recently been completely updated and was wonderful. When we arrived there were fresh flowers in our room and home baked shortbread! Each morning we enjoyed chatting with our hosts and eating the delicious breakfast complete with a new fresh baked treat. Susan and John... More

As others have found, John and Susan are terrific hosts. Our room, the Twin/King, was bright and comfy, but the real treat is the hospitality from John and Susan. Breakfasts were excellent and we couldn't refuse Susan's baked specials, but the porridge was also the best we had in Scotland. The location is great.....a short walk into town (downhill to... More

Susan and John were terrific. They both were readily available for questions and information. They recommended two very nice restaurants for us and made the reservations. The building itself is in a prime area of Inverness, only a 10 minute walk into town center. It has been maintained very well and it was a pleasure to stay there. The bed... More

Hi Jim Thanks so much for your kind review - we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. It certainly is quite windy from time to time in Inverness - we like to think that helps to move the weather on when it's a bit rainy, and it certainly means that we don't get the summer midge problem... When a couple are passionate about their business it shows! John and Sarah, couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating especially when we rang through to say we had arrived a little early. The information they provided and the breakfast were both superb. Photography is another of John's passions and we loved looking at the many examples of his work... More
