I've stayed in the Abermar GH 3 times. What I look for in accommodation is: Cleanliness, Comfort, Location, Parking, Friendliness, and Value. Abermar hits the bullseye on all counts! From the manicured building & surrounds, shining brass, to the immaculate rooms, I don't think I've ever felt as comfortable staying away from home. Comfortable beds, comfortable modern rooms, excellent showers,... more

what are written in the reviews are completely true. This accomodation was spotless. The room was of ample size with a very comfortable bed. We had superb breakfasts and the service was excellent. This accomodation is handily placed to town, only being a 5minute walk to town. Our hosts,James and Alison were the friendliest of hosts. We could not find... more

We were on a coach tour, so unfortunately we only had one night with James and Allison. Lovely room with a very comfortable bed, and very roomy. When we went in to breakfast we were greated by all cereals, yoghurts etc, but what stays in our memory is the ENORMOUS bowl of mixed fresh fruit, followed by traditional cooked breakfast.... more

I had a very pleasant stay in this B&B. The bedroom was very clean, the temperature was just right and the comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. Breakfast was also very agreeable. The hosts were very reasonable people. Highly recommended. more

Spacious, spotless rooms, a hearty breakfast and a warm welcome, all within 5 minutes'walk from the city center. It's a great place to stay and visit the Inverness area. We found it underrated with 3 stars and would gladly award 4-star status! more

An excellent well kept, efficiently run establishment. The owner went out of his way to assist me when I managed to get lost on the way from the station and very kindly came to find me in his car. I hope to return for a slightly longer stay next year and have promised not to get lost this time! more

This was our second time staying with James and Allison. We were there for four nights and appreciated the great breakfasts and the hosts' friendliness and helpfulness. A short walk into Inverness from the B&B. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We are already looking forward to returning next summer. more
