Stayed here for 2 nights last week and can't praise the owners enough. The breakfast was great and plenty of it. Lovely room with comfy bed, chairs, tv and tea/coffee making facilities. View of Inverness Castle from the window. The Abermar is within 5 minutes walk from the city centre where there are lots of eating establishments. Easy access to... More

A warm welcome, spacious and spotless accommodation, plentiful breakfast (loved the homemade jam), helpful hosts. An short walk across the river to the town with a choice of good restaurants within 10 minutes. We especially recommend the Mustard Seed on Fraser Street and the Bicycle Cafe on Stephen's Brae. The Eden Court theatre/cinema complex is also close on the west... More

Have stayed here twice and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else while in Inverness. Very clean, warm and lovely spacious bedrooms. Fabulous breakfast with lots of choice including fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal, porridge etc. Then to follow, a fantastic full Scottish Breakfast with lots of toast and tea. Hosts are a lovely couple who take the time to talk to... More

Just stayed here for two nights, what a gem. We actually stumbled on it by accident and lucky we did. We had room number 2 which was a large ground floor room whith a huge ensuite. Quality furnishings, very comfy king sized bed. Excellent breakfast including the full scottish if you want it. Inverness has a plethora of b and... More

Walking distance to city center and the river. Very helpful owners and the rooms & breakfast were great. They even had black pudding as a breakfast option <3 Good private parking. Some how none of our navigators couldn't find the street number, but it was easy to find anyway.

We stayed 3 great nights at Abermar from 22nd June. Clean and large family room, with ensuite. 10mins walk from the train station. Ample car park at the back. Drinks and cookies provided in the room. Breakfast was superb with fresh fruit, juices, cereals as well as toast and full Scottish breakfast. Try the works! Delicious! We arrived earlier than... More

Previously I stayed here with my mum in September 2011. And, of course, there was no doubt to return when I planned my holiday in December 2012. Everything is great. Location is wonderful, it's about 5-10 minutes to the bus and rail stations - very convenient if you would like to travel around Inverness or further; 5 minutes to the... More
