We chose Abermar because we were playing a concert nearby and it is very central. It lived up to all our expectations and we had a lovely room, absolutely spotless and quiet, with superb breakfast. It was our first visit but we will defnitely be back if we need a room in Inverness again! Very close to the centre of... more

We stayed at this guest house for one night and considered it brilliant value for the price. We had the room on the ground floor and it was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and ample. The location was really good for visiting the city, about a five minute walk. Would definitely stay at this guest... more

Abermar is a lovely guesthouse only a few minutes walk from Ness bridge. James and Allison were extremely friendly hosts and were informative and helpful with any requests. The room was spotless with ensuite, tea/coffee making facilities (and nice selection of shortbread biscuits) and tv. The fry-up breakfast looked superb but unfortunately as I was taking part in a half-marathon... more

We stayed for two nights in the one guest room downstairs and it was great - immaculate in every way, beautifully decorated, spacious and quiet and the ensuite bathroom was luxurious. The hosts were gracious and tried to meet our every wish. Breakfast was speedy, tasty and generous. Location is very good, on a relatively quiet street but within easy... more

The Abermar Guest House was a perfect B&B for my mother and I. It was a short walk to the city centre. It was also close to the beautiful walking paths along the river. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We had lots of options for breakfast, which was served in a pleasant dining room. They also arranged to... more

6 of us stayed with James and Allison for 3 nights. Probably the best B&B we stayed at during our 9 days in Scotland. Everything was excellent - the rate, off street parking, proximity to downtown (just across the footbridge), breakfasts, showers, rooms/bathrooms, and hosts, make this an absolutely great find. Having stayed at a lot of B&B in the... more
