We have just spent two nights at this excellent B&B. We were given a warm and friendly welcome and the hostess was very helpful, giving us maps and directions around the town and surrounding area. The location is excellent being five minutes walk from the town centre over the bridge.Even though our room was on a busy road, the double glazing meant... Bluebell House was a wonderful base to explore the Highlands. It is easy to find and they have onsite parking, which is convenient and seems uncommon in the area. My friend and I stayed in a room with comfortable twin beds. Neil had excellent suggestions on everything from restaurants and sites, to running trails. Margaret's breakfasts were delicious! I particularly... More

We had a very comfortable stay at Bluebell, 4 poster antique bed very comfortable. We were pampered all the way from a delicious Traditional breakfast made to order to assistance with maps, attractions, and restaurants. We walked downtown to the square a big plus, left car parked in private parking. We highly recommend Bluebell. Thank you.

Our annual reunion takes place in a different location each year. This year it was Inverness. All going choose their own accommodation. We chose Blubell House. Good choice! Proprietor was away on day of our arrival but his son made sure we were very welcome. Excellent large room with comfortable bed and (something that is often lacking elsewhere) plenty of... More

Had such a nice stay at the Bluebell House this past March. We chose it randomly as we were driving around Inverness on our last night in Scotland, and we were lucky enough that there was a vacancy. We stayed on the bottom floor in such a nice room with a canopy bed. It was such a comfortable bed after... More

Traveling with friends, we enjoyed this location. The rooms were charming, the hosts warm and helpful, and the full hot breakfast not to miss. Totally walkable to Inverness. Off the street parking. What else could you want?

This is an elegant B&B with host who truly want you to be happy. They went out of their way to help us fix a problem we had. The food is excellent and plentiful. Try the traditional Scottish breakfast. There is no elevator but there is a main floor room.

Set right off the main enterprises along the river, this quiet and sumptuous accommodation is run by a lovely couple who do everything to make your stay marvelous. I can't recommend this spot highly enough! Within walking distance of fine dining, shops, and a pub with excellent live music.

We had the most wonderful stay for our honeymoon. Neil was great; very welcoming and helpful with the surrounding area. The breakfast was delicious and big, we loved the dining room it was in. The room we had was comfortable and cozy. The decor was exactly what we hoped for. Would definitely stay again!

Pros: the couple running the B&B are very nice and super accommodating (however they never introduced themselves). Breakfast was excellent. And the bedrooms are nice with modern bathrooms. Great location as everything is walkable to the main sites of inverness. Cons: on a very noisy corner so sleep is limited. We had the room above the dining room so we... More

Well, I'm genuinely sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay with us and I apologise to you. I realised when you arrived and were aghast at our breakfast times that perhaps your expectations were going to be somewhat beyond the limits of what we could reasonably provide. We always offer some flexibility when requested but I think that, in your... More
