My wife and i stayed at logan cottage for seven nights as part of a sixteen day holiday. We were given an extremely warm welcome on arrival by richard and nancy. Our room with a huge en-suite was very comfortable and spotless, complete with all toiletries,a pile of fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers. The breakfast was to die for especially the... More

We have told Richard and Nancy that they have set a very high bench mark for Guest House accommodation for the remainder of our UK trip. So far we have found nothing to even compare. We can only agree whole hearted lay with all the other comments. You will not be disappointed.

The only think Richard could not do was to stop the rain the day we visited Loch Ness! All the rest was perfect. Logan Cottage was made with tremendous care from people that clearly love what they're doing, with impressive attention of every detail. The day would start with a superb and plentiful breakfast, tailored to your needs, and then... More

A friend and I stayed with Richard and Nancy during our trip up for the Loch Ness marathon. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. The room was spotless, the breakfast was great (Richard was even so kind as to get up at 5 to make some porridge on marathon morning) and with a two minute walk... More

After reading all the previous Tripadvisor reviews we just knew that we were in for a Special weekend stay with Nancy & Richard. It was a beautiful home and we agree with all the excellent remarks, regarding cleanlines, breakfast and added extras in the bedrooms. We travelled from North Wales on the Scot Rail over 55 ticket £17 from Carlisle with... More

I stayed here for four nights while I was on a music course in Inverness. Logan Cottage is beautifully decorated, with excellent facilities and very comfy beds. I had a spotlessly clean twin room, and a gorgeous separate bathroom with a bath in the middle of the floor! There are nice extras like bathrobes and slippers, a mini fridge and... More

We had already enjoyed Nancy's hospitality as we had spent 7 days of our honeymoon in Inverness back in 2008, and we had looked forward to coming back ever since. Once again, we loved our beautiful ensuite room (which had been completely redone in the meanwhile, and was even more beautiful so). Back in 2008 we had looked for a... More

I am sure that there are plenty of BnBs to choose from in the area and many would be as good or better than Logan Cottage, but we're throwing in our vote for LC since that is where we stayed and our stay was most pleasant. We found it through Trip Advisor and can say that the ratings were right... More

Amazing accommodation, immaculately clean & welcoming! I have stayed in varying accommodation over the years and this by far exceeds all expectations and leaves all others far behind!! Excellent breakfast .... Again far superior to any breakfast I have had elsewhere. Thankyou so much for excellent hospitality that will be hard to match anywhere else!

I came upon Logan Cottage by accident as I was researching my family history. The cottage was built around 1873 by my Great Grandfather for his brother Thomas Mackintosh when he got married. When I discovered that not only did the cottage still exist, but was now a Bed and Breakfast, I had to pay a visit. I was delighted... More
