My partner and I wanted a long weekend away and decided to go to Inverness and found The Kings Highway online, after seeing reviews for it we decided to book 4 nights and it was a good choice. Room was very clean and spacious. We would recommend staying here. Our only problem really was that the fire alarm kept going... More

Very convenient for Inverness railway station and with a wide range of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. My room was very comfortable and well equipped. Massive comfortable king sized bed. I would definitely stay here again

Good location if you are on foot as it is quite central. Parking is a big issue though. We got lucky and found a space outside which are loading bays available only after 6pm and must be vacated at 8am unless Sunday. The hotel was OK with a good room on the second floor which has lift access if required.... More

Room was ok.en suite was clean but had a bit of a urine smell about it. Also one of the receptionists obviously couldn't string a sentence together..if we asked anything we managed to get one word back. Most of the other staff seemed friendly enough tho. I think the receptionist in particular should maybe look for another career as this... More

The hotel was excellent value for money at every level. The room was spacious and clean. The central location is great and makes visiting Inverness easy. The food is of a good standard and is inexpensive. The range of drinks and the range of offers and price are exceptional. I will stay here again.

Perfect hotel in centre of Inverness - walkable from train station. Room clean and comfortable (not an enormous room but big enough for two). Great breakfast options at reasonable prices in wetherspoons next door.

Only problem was parking and as it was pouring down with rain and there was construction work being carried out in the centre of town, this proved quite difficult. But otherwise ideal especially for our one night stop.

When you book, make sure that the room is not at the back of the hotel. The sound of emptying bottles and the sea gulls on the next door roof will keep you awake all hours and all hopes of a restful night's sleep will be a dream. The room itself was nice and clean with a nice shower. No... More

The room was clean but was a odour smell on arrival, the pillows were terrible also windows didn't open and felt close. The noise was unbearable from 10pm till 3 am if not later also a clunking noise from hotel room like a washing machine or air con going all nigh long, door into our room was situated next to... Myself and my family were very happy with our stay with the family room being a perfect size and very clean and smart. There was a good sized TV with all the extras you would need for our one night stay! Will definitely be coming to stay again. Thanks
