The Talisker Guest House is situated on Ness Bank in Inverness. It is perfectly located for easy access to the town, the stunning Ness Islands, and to Eden Court, which attracts top names in the entertainment world, musicals and Scottish Food Festivals to name a few. My week's stay at Talisker was most enjoyable, - my single room on the... More

Spent four nights in Talisker in June and was delighted by every aspect of the experience. Comfortable, clean, compact bedroom at the top of the house which suited my budget perfectly. Noise free nights meant great sleeps to set me up for busy days, started with the perfectly adequate “help yourself” continental breakfast. Talisker is well positioned for a quick... More

Right on the river this old house has been beautifully modernised with the loveliest cream coloured carpet throughout the house. Gives a brightness that tartan places so lack. My room for one was compact and good value as I requested for my 3 day budget visit. The rooms overlooking the river look perfect. 10 mins from the centre just along... More

just prior to booking room online for my birthday weekend with my wife and 9 month old daughter, I phoned to check if it would be alright to book double room for 3 of us and bring our own travel cot. Answer was - no. I can not understand why she hasn't allowed us to stay in there. How 9... More

I am baffled by this review which states that the reviewer stayed with us in September 2014 when he has not stayed with us at any time.He was politely informed in response to a telephone enquiry that it was our policy not to take young children. We have adopted this policy to accommodate our customers in response to noise problems we... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Talisker. The view over the river was beautiful, It was really close to the town center but it was really quiet and peaceful. Our room was absolutely spotless and breakfast was really good. We would definitely recommend it!! Thank you

We stayed there for three nights. The location is very lovely, next to the river and still only a five minutes walk to the centre of Inverness. Phuong is a warm and helpful person, we felt very welcome.

We were impressed from the first time we saw the location next to the river, quiet yet an easy walk to the centre of Inverness. Then we met Phuong, who was so lovely, warm and helpful that we felt at home straightaway. My daughter had been ill, we were exhausted and Phuong was so genuinely kind to us both, nothing... More

We stayed in Inverness only one night but Talisker was just perfect to it. Lady of the house has a pretty strong accent and few times we needed to ask again what she was saying but her friendliness compensated this very well! Room was cosy and very clean with tv and coffee and tea making possibility. Bed was not so... More

a very clean and friendly space. We came late to Inverness (July 16th) on our tour through Scotland and were offered that B&B by Ian (very kind and helpful!) from the Tourist Information. The Tallisker is close to the city but also very quite. It was a warm welcome by the couple that evening. We asked them for a vegetarian... More

Stayed 1 night on business. First impressions count and you may well be overwhelmed by your host's friendliness! My room (no. 5) was very clean, very comfortable, a nice view over the river.and I slept VERY well. Talisker is less than 5 mins walk to the centre (actually, it's just about in the centre!) but in a quiet location and... More
