When planning our trip I did not realise untill I started to try to book the ovenight in Inverness, that we would be here on the Thursday night befor Rockness! Dionard was the first guest house on my shortlist that had any openings, and although it was a double room and I, travelling with my sister-in-law, really wanted a twin,... More

My husband and I stayed here over Christmas and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We chose this B&B purely because of the proximity to my cousin's house and were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the guesthouse was. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious, and both Doris and Brian were really lovely. They had a few extra special touches for... More

I am currently staying at the guest house with my wife , sister and brother in law. What a find this place is. Clean, comfortable and well equipped rooms, varied breakfast menu and very handy for the city centre. We all four agree that if we ever return to Inverness we will endeavour to stay at the Dionard. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Doris, who was kind enough to remember that we were traveling on our honeymoon and congratulated us profusely. We were lead to our BEAUTIFUL room, which was absolutely spotless. The bathroom was huge, and the water pressure in the shower was better than anywhere else we had stayed. The bed was VERY comfortable,... More

I had the great pleasure of staying a Dionard Guest House from 20th - 24th August. As I had arrived from Australia the owners could not have been more helplful in recommending places to eat and things to see. It is my understanding that they had only taken over the business the week before. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast... More

My partner and I spent 2 nights at the Dionard during a short touring holiday in Scotland. Brian & Doris are splendid hosts and cannot do enough for you. They run an excellent guest house which is of the highest standard. Our room No 6 had a superior king sized bed and a superb ensuite, both the decor and cleanliness... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Dionard Guest House in their mini suite. Although im sure all the rooms would be nice there, the mini suite in particular was newly constructed, huge and was very nicely decorated. The bathroom had a nice shower and was spacious. Bed was comfortable and it had a good sized LCD. Free Internet... More

We recently spent four days in Inverness and stayed at Dionard Guest House. It is within easy walking distance of the downtown core. The room was very nice, comfortable, and well kept. Breakfast was quite tasty with good selection. We found our hosts to be congenial, very friendly, and helpful. More

My wife and I stayed at the Dionard for two nights on a recent trip to the Scottish highlands and islands. Once on our way out and once on our way back home. We found the welcome to be delightful and friendly and the gusthouse to be very well-run: despite its having very recently acquired by new proprietors and our... More
