If you can find a youth hostel it would be a lot cheaper and no more basic. I stay in hotels all over Scotland on business but very rarely write a review, however this time I'll make an exception.I am convinced that anyone giving a Travelodge more than a poor rating is either a troll from Travelodge or has never... It was nice and clean, though very basic. found it too expensive for the facilities. and toileteries were not sufficient like a small bottle of soap only for a family of 4 so had to rush to supermarket to buy bath gel. Breakfast in nearby golf club restaurant was good.

Arrived after a last minute booking due to everywhere else being fully booked. I must admit I was very surprised by this travelodge. Definitely a cut above the rest! Allocated a room in the annex building. Nice flat screen TV, clean crisp bedding, towels and shower gel in bathroom. Free 30 mins wifi and only £3 for 24 hours. Furniture... More

We booked this Travelodge in Feb 2014,due to us touring the highlands of Scotland for the first time. After entering the given postcode we proceeded from Fort William Travelodge(excellent) to Inverness, arrived to the given postcode, a cul-de-sac in the centre of a housing estate!!!! We asked a local and the response was" not you as well", so it seems... More

Two adults and 2 children (13 and 16) stayed for two nights. Basic hotel facilities, however beds/mattresses were comfortable ( I am 20st), clean towels, TV, tea/coffee in room, what else do you need for two nights? Some other hotels were quoting 2 to 4 times what we paid and the only extras were breakfast and free Internet. 24-hour ASDA... More

I booked this hotel as needed to be close to hospital, when we arrived into the hotel we were given the key and told it was in the other building. On entering the room the only couple of downfalls is the décor it is very tired looking and marks all over the walls, There was dust all over the room... More

This was the second year we stayed as part of a group and on this occasion for one night. Our room charge averaged out at £100 per night (in contrast to £65 for same time last year) and no breakfast included! We were also charged £20 for our dog which is excessive in comparison to 4 star hotels. We were... More

This travel lodge is very clean, the rooms are comfortable and the staff are very pleasant. There is an excellent restaurant just behind the hotel called The Fairways, it is for golf also. We enjoyed breakfast there twice. The meats for the cooked breakfast are from local butchers in Dingwall. Do NOT go to Asda for breakfast.

My daughter and I stayed here for four days in search of the lochness monster 'Nessy'. We hired a car and the hotel was a short way from town, the airport and quite easy to find. It was in a quiet location near a golf course, the Fairways restaurant next door which was good value and a massive 24hr superstore ASDA... More

Clean, efficient... quiet location next to the golf course. Large room, but the bed was a bit too soft for a couple; would have been ok for one occupant. Near restaurant and very close to superstores and outlets. A little distance to the center of town.
