We had booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary three months ahead of our stay. Our estimated time of arrival was 6PM and we arrived at just after 6.30PM. On arrival we were advised by the operations manageress that “all was not well” and we had been overbooked. She blamed a breakdown in the computer some time before which had... more

The Drumossie is a wonderful hotel. Having stayed there often on business, I can say the staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. Conference facilities are very good. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable, the grounds are beautiful, the food is excellent and the breakfasts are cooked to order, unlike the increasingly normal horrible buffets. It is out of... more

Dirty shower cubicle. Filthy stained seat covers, well worn fancy cushions on bed, no matress protector sheet dicetly on matress, no tea bags, supposedly hot breakfast was cold and inedible, cheapest nastiest fruit juice. Staff were polite and helpful and obviously well used to complaints. this is the NEW version of this hotel - leopards can not change their spots... more

My husband and I stayed here for one night. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable. The food in the restaurant was of a very high standard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a large function taking place when we were there but it didn't affect the service provided. This is another great Macdonald hotel. more

Stayed there for five nights, ten minutes from city center. Very quiet place to stay, clean bathroom, but the decorative pillows on the bed were not clean and it was obvious that they had used. For the breakfast they had a buffet with fruits, cereals and juices, and you had to order the main course (bacon, sausages, eggs, etc.). The... more

This hotel ticked all the right boxes for us- clean, good service, spacious room, easy car parking, excellent food. Our room was spacious, with several seats and a well-appointed bathroom(with a separate walk-in shower and bath). Due to the mist, we had not been aware until the morning we were leaving that we had views of the Moray Firth from... more

We stayed here for one night whilst on business, we got a very good rate by quoting the laterooms website price. Bedroom was a good size with large bathroom both being recently refurbished. Dinner was expensive but very good, staff were all very pleasant and efficient, the Canadian receptionist was very welcoming. We will definitely return here as it is... more

Having read the very positive comments of guests, we had no hesitation in booking a 2 night stay here for the 5th/6th January. On our arrival at reception, we were asked for card details. When handed a Visa Debit card, the receptionist rather surprised us by saying that, if we used this card, then we would have to pay for... more
