A small, quaint bed and breakfast inn for a one-night stay. We started to have reservations after Meg, the proprietress indicated we had to leave our big luggage in the dining room, and bring our necessities to our room, which was warm and snugly. However, we were informed to switch off the heater immediately after use, or else the noise... More

Our preview of this Guest House was quite good and homely for a U.K. accommodation. On arriving in the evening, we could not see much, but it seemed comfortable enough. The landlady was hospitable enough, but on looking at our sizable luggage, we were informed that they had to be placed in the dining room, and we were not allowed... More

We booked the White Lodge through the Tourist Information and, given it was only 5 minutes walk from the city centre, it seemed ideal. When we arrived we were greeted by the very friendly landlady who showed us up to the room. Her conversation soon switched to the fan in the bathroom and how leaving it on would disturb the... More

I stayed here for one night back in March as part of a tour of the Highlands. I was the only one on the bus staying here, and I was the only guest there, period. I had a single room, which was very clean. My wifi signal was just fine. Yes, the shower was hard to control, but I figured... More

Like others here have written, I was on an organized tour of the Highlands and was offered overnight accommodations here as a part of that package. The B&B was clean, room was small double with en suite bathroom. . . the bathroom was tiny and the shower stall was even smaller. Was greeted at the door by Maggie - never... More

White Lodge Guest House was wonderful! Maggie took such good care of us. The room was marvelous and very clean. Breakfast was a great buffet with a variety of cereals and yogurt, or a cooked breakfast with many choices. If I travel to Inverness again I will certainly stay there. We had an elder with us and Maggie was so... More

When we signed up for a 5-day bus tour of northern Scotland, the overnight accommodations offered were hotels or B&Bs. As senior travelers, we at first opted for hotels, thinking it would be better for us and our fellow guests if we did not have to share a bathroom with others. The tour operator wrote us back that we would... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here as part of a two day Highlands tour with Timberbush Tour Company. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and helpful. She gave us the Honeymoon Suite for the same tour rate, and it was the nicest and largest room we stayed in during our entire UK tour. The walk to... More

Let me first say, I haven't stayed in a B&B for awhile as I prefer staying in hotels. We stayed there as part of a tour to the Highlands. It was nice and quaint. The room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom was really small. In addition, they asked that we remember to turn off the light/fan in the... More

I stayed here recently with my Mum as we were visiting family. Margaret and Jackie were so welcoming and could not do enough for us. Our room was spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a feast and it was like sitting at hone chatting with family. Very close to everything and I would recommend a stay here
