We stayed a Sunday night, very good value at £54. The outside of the building and grounds are very impressive, but inside could be much better. Brighter lighting would enhance the reception and lounge areas, and the bedrooms would benefit from some nice cheery wallpaper or even some pictures on the walls. On a positive note, the place was very... More

A wonderful way to enjoy Sunday afternoon. After a walk about Inverness, we stopped in for a wonderful meal , fresh carved meat and all the trimmings. Finished with a beautiful dessert buffet. We didn't have a reservation, but the hostess found us a table indoors, by the window.

We used Maple Court for an over night stay when visiting Eden Court theatre. Although a little dated in decor we found this small hotel to be comfortable clean with high standards. Breakfast was excellent, well presented, plentiful, quality food and served in a pleasant friendly manner. The grounds are quiet, gardens well kept with plenty of parking. Location is... More

we did not stay at the hotel but popped in for a meal one January evening. from the outside the hotel looks welcoming and quite grand. once inside the disappointment starts. minimalist but not in a good way, more in a way that they started the interior design work and then stopped a quarter of the way through the job.... Season was pretty busy, so we did not have many choices. The hotel is like other comments say a little shabby, it does look like they are refurbishing. Too many doors to get to your room. Rooms are not very spacious and ours did not have a view at all. The garden is wonderful, the location is excellent because is... More

We have tried many Inverness hotels and Maple Court has established itself as our favourite. Yes it is rather shabby in some areas but Murray, the new owner, is gradually refurbishing the place which is scrupulously clean. The setting is quite wonderful and quiet, unlike most Inverness hotels, the staff friendly and helpful, all rooms are spacious ( and ground... More

We spent one night here as we could not find better rooms in Inverness (height of tourist season and late booking). Cost us more than 200 euros for one night. Room was pretty spacious, however slightly smelly (humidity ?) and pretty basic. The place was pretty clean but again the general look and feel is that the place needs a... More

We had a two day stay here. The staff were very good and I could not fault their willingness to help. Food we had there was good and the late evening meal terrific. They are, however, working in a hotel that has plainly had very little maintenance for some considerable time and gives the opinion that it is operating on... More

We stayed here last night. The smell of new paint greeted us, as did friendly staff. Room was large. Beds clean and comfy. Breakfast and dinner very nice and nicely presented. Great locality, right on the fast flowing Ness River. All on one level, no stairs, equals bonus!
