We stayed at Moyness House for 2 nights as part of a touring holiday in Scotland. We loved our room - well furnished and very comfortable. In the room and throughout the house there are some fantastic art works covering virtually every surface. Breakfast was very tasty and we can recommend the haggis. Moyness House is located well within easy... More

Richard and Jenny are complete hosts. Their rooms are clean and comfortable with all amenities expected in a fine hotel. The breakfasts are sumptuous. Best of all, their suggestions for sight seeing in the Highlands go well beyond any guide book suggestions. They know the Highlands well and share their knowledge to the benefit of first time travelers to this... More

We visited Inverness with our ten year old granddaughter. Moyness house has lovely rooms and the breakfast was yummy. Our grandaughter loved the bacon and the toast and jam.It is an easy walk to the main part of town. Our hostess was very helpful. She even pointed out a very nice art gallery where we found a nice painting.

Moyness House is in a first class category all by itself with wonderful hosts. Jenny and Richard could not be more accommodating, and they made sure we had everything we needed. I loved the fact that it was not directly located in the city center but instead on a quiet street that was just a short walk away. Our room... More

Stayed for four nights at a hotel in the middle of the town and then three nights at Moyness house. The bed at Moyness was more comfortable, breakfast was superior and general atmosphere was very calm, yet welcoming. We stayed at a room on the ground floor at the back of the house, and although the shower room was compact,... More

We arrived late in the afternoon and received a warm welcome from our host Richard. He gave us some great dinner recommendations and was kind enough to make the reservations for us. Our room was spacious and well appointed. We had a large bathroom with everything we could have needed. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of selection.... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Ideal location for walking into Inverness but also for getting easily out of the city if you're planning to explore further north. Lovely clean room, tasty breakfast and very friendly and informative hosts Richard and Jenny.

We were welcomed by Jenny and given lots of information re trips, restaurants and places to see. Our room was beautifully clean with fresh flowers in a vase. The bathroom had locally sourced toiletries which were just lovely. Gorgeous white fluffy towels, changed daily as well. At breakfast we we're greeted by Richard and were offered a large selection of... More

I stayed here with a friend in early May this year, and had a fantastic time. Richard and Jenny were excellent hosts and made us both feel very welcome and gave us helpful advice and suggestions on places to visit and things to see around Inverness, as well as making dinner reservations for us for both nights. The rooms were... More

After a road trip of several days, and a few B&B beds of excessive firmness, I was desperate for a good night's sleep. Richard came through with a last minute booking and allowed us to check the room before agreeing to stay, for which I am very grateful. Moyness House is a lovely home - and our room (on the... More
