Consistently friendly, efficient and excellent service from the knowledgeable staff at Rocpool..Lots of little touches which made all the difference, lovely Molton Brown toiletries, oversized bathrooms, good mineral water and coffee in rooms. We had dinner in the restaurant, preceded by spot on cocktails! Dinner was faultless, adventurous but excellent menu. Super atmosphere at Rocpool, would definitely return. more

Stayed with my wife on a dinner/ bed and breakfast deal on Saturday night. This is the second time I have stayed at the Rocpool and will not be my last. The hotel itself is stunning with the Rooms being the best standard I have been to, I was in the Chic class room 11. The only thing wrong was... more

Stayed for one night but wished it could have been longer. The room was stylish and comfortable. The food was excellent - unusual combinations with subtle flavours. The staff were friendly and efficient. What more could one ask for? more

We stayed here to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. We were looking for small but luxurious and were not disappointed. We stayed in room 2, a Hip room (the lowest priced at £165 per night) and found it most relaxing. Large, very comfortable bed, luxurious bathroom, stylish accessories and fittings. The reception, bar and restaurant areas are decorated to a... more

This hotel is superb. Please dont believe otherwise. Had a really nice one nights stay here. Excellent room (Room 1) with an incredible, huge, downstairs bathroom. Beautiful bed linen and great service. The food in the restaurant was presented beautifully. The taste was very complex though and we could see it not appealing to some tastes. It had a lot... more

Stayed here last weekend. It is a great hotel. We felt relaxed and comfortable the moment we walked through the door. Ate dinner on Saturday night - the restaurant was incredibly busy. Dinner was outstanding , I cannot understand where people are coming from saying it is overcomplicated - I had chicken breast with artichoke and peas- nothing overcomplicated about... more
