My husband and I had a wonderful two nights in this beautiful, boutique hotel in Inverness. The staff were very helpful, the decor was wonderfully stylish throughout and the food was wonderful. There was a lot of quirkiness - a tv in the lounge area showing fish in the day and a roaring fire at night and sweeties dotted around... more

I have passed all your wonderful comments onto all the staff here at Rocpool Reserve. I am delighted that you noticed and appreciated all the small details within the hotel, for example the sweets and TV. We believe that it is the small extras and attention to detail that helps any hotel stand out from the rest. I have also...

This hotel is superb. Please dont believe otherwise. Had a really nice one nights stay here. Excellent room (Room 1) with an incredible, huge, downstairs bathroom. Beautiful bed linen and great service. The food in the restaurant was presented beautifully. The taste was very complex though and we could see it not appealing to some tastes. It had a lot... more

Whats all the fuss about this place? I stayed here through my work and I have to say it is average at best with the rooms starting to show some wera and tear. Noise from the bar, no reception staff to be found, no-one wanting to listen to the guest and to top it all off they ASK you to... more

With reference to your review - I am very surprised to read your comments. We would be interested to know which room you stayed in as none of our rooms suffer from noise from the bar since modifications were made. It is not our policy to ask any customers to write a review for any purpose. Your opinion is very...

As a seasoned traveller I have stayed in many mass hotels so many months back I decided to go down the BOUTIQUE hotel option. Many hotels use this word to describe their property some use it very inappropriately - not so with Rocpool Reserve. For me a boutique hotel is all about the total experience - the ambience , the... more

We arrived at the hotel on the Friday afternoon, we were not sure how to get there, but we were given some excellent directions when we called and arrived there no problem. On arrival we were greeted not at a desk but by a lady who took us to our room and showed us what was complimentary etc and got... more

In the past 5 months my partner and I have stayed at the Rocpool for over 70 nights, and it is by far the BEST hotel in Inverness. The rooms are beautiful, each individually decorated and designed with talent and care. The staff are always attentive and the food is fabulous - complimented by an excellent wine list and a... more

If you are staying in Inverness, this is the place to stay. Really a nice experienve. Great staff that really makes an effort. The facility itself is very well done (I wouldn't have done the red, but let's not split hairs). The beds, perfect. The bathroom, almost perfect. Molton Brown products. There are a few clunky things from a design... more
