We had a wonderful time staying with June and John. The room we stayed in was comfortable and well lit. The breakfasts were wonderful. We enjoyed walks up the front garden. The Tilt is close enough to town that it was a short bus ride (or a 5 pound cab ride) in but far enough away that you aren't right... More

We spent 2 nights at The Tilt at the end of September. Service was very friendly and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent and at the end of our visit we were given a lift to the railway station.

AVOID LIKE PLAGUE!!! JOHN (the Director) is the worse man I've ever met. The rooms are dirty, smalls and I found twice a giant spider. The place is outside everything and in the worse place of Inverness. They told me I hae to pay twice the price cause in their opinion I had psoriasis, while I just burned my self... More

We stayed a week and it was a real pleasure. I was dubious of hauling cases up to the front door but back door access via the hill roadway made it easy. June and John are fantastic hosts and nothing can be falted including their friendliness and knowledge of the area and Highlands. The location is fairly near a hospital... More

Travelled up for a funeral, so to be honest was just looking for a bed for the night, but what an absolute gem of a place. Nice friendly couple who run it, the gent even apologised for not having enough de-icer to do my whole windscreen in the morning! Compact room, but very comfortable and spotlessly - and I mean... My friend and I stayed here for two nights in a twin room and it was excellent. June and John made us feel very welcome and they were very willing to offer suggestions for activities in the area depending on our interests. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Didn't know before because of the last review here. However, as a guy who works in the railway industry and has the fortune and misfortune to stay in a lot of b&b's I know wn I see a bogus review. The hotel is totally clean and hygienic with new towels every day and room sorted every day. Lovely breakfast to... More
