My wife and I stayed at the Columba Hotel, Inverness for a couple of nights. The room was lovely and plenty of space. We had a fantastic view of the river from our third floor window. Breakfast was good and there was a wide selection of cereals, continental and fry-up. The best thing is that the hotel is situated smack... More

Visited with my husband on an itison deal, the fact we received a discounted room did soften the blow of our experience at the Columba. On our 1st night we were put into a TINY room with no space to move,a tiny shower room that was mouldy and to add insult to Injury we were awoken at 6am with the... More

Shocked that this hotel is rated 31/34 hotels in Inverness, well located close to shops bars restaurants etc, we stayed in winter time and had a beautiful view of the river at the front of the hotel, but we were disappointed with the lack of parking facilities, room was clean enough but very dated, beds comfortable, horrible shower curtains which... Stayed one night. Brilliant location for both Eden Centre and Inverness town centre. Room provided all that was necessary. Good selection of hot and cold buffet breakfast. I'd definitely stay here again. Itison voucher gave good rate with free bottle of wine.

Our tour provider booked this property as part of their U.K tour. This is a very old hotel and as such has some issues: Our bathroom window would not close, the pub next to us was noisy and the property has maintenance issues that should be addressed. The buffet breakfast was typical of what is served at other hotels in... More

We stayed here for one night while on tour. The location is very picturesque, the river in front and a typical older Scottish building. Our registration went very smoothly. Our room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small as well but adequate. Our meals were very good and the serving staff did a great... More

Stayed for one night in this hotel. Warm welcome when we arrived at 21.00. Quite a tired room could do with a spruce up, but bed comfortable and clean.Plenty choice for buffet breakfast, smooth check out in morning.

We stayed here for one night on a tour. The check in process was so quick and efficient. The surroundings do need some upgrades and some of our fellow travelers had complaints about being to warm. But all in all, it was an okay place to stay.

This hotel has the rudest, most disrespectful Russian receptionist I have encountered since the 60's in the Soviet Union. The manager, to whom I asked to speak, trembled and coward before her and deferred to her rather than discuss a matter before me. Do not expect them, to uphold deals struck on line as in her words they "lose money... More

We stayed in this Hotel on a tour. Quick check in and out. Nice dinner and breakfast. We had a show which was quite good. Location was beautiful, on the lake. It's an older Hotel that is being upgraded. There was a nice new bathroom in our room. I like the older Hotels and this one checked all the boxes.... More
