We stayed just a night at Trafford Bank and wish we had booked another night or two. The location to downtown Inverness is an easy walk in - Lorraine recommended a great restaurant "The Kitchen". The teenagers enjoyed the used of internet and television - I enjoyed a luxurious soaking tub. The breakfast was sumptious - served on wonderful Scottish... more

Trafford Bank is certainly the place to stay in Inverness. We were made to feel very welcome. All the rooms are spotlessly clean, breakfast is superb, especially the bowl of fresh fruit salad and homemade scones. We highly recommend it. more

Excellent service in a stunning place in Inverness. It might seem a bit expensive but it is really worthy. We stayed for one night at the amazing Floral Suite: everything neat, beatiful decoration, dvd, flat screen, ipod station, private bath, fabulous bed and an incredible breakfast....everything exceeded our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend this place. more

An amazing experience. The Blue Room was very nice, loved the king bed. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. A nighttime sherry was a very nice touch. We really enjoyed our 2 nights there and look forward to staying again. more

Stayed in the "Green Room" with my wife for two nights. The details and appointments are those you would find in a 5 star hotel, the decoration you would find in a magazine, and the personality of a B&B. If you are looking for a treat, look no further. more

Theres no question, this is a top notch B&B. I was travelling alone and stayed in the Blue room. Very comfortable and quiet. They give a very friendly welcome without being intrusive, and serve a superb breakfast in a lovely dining room. The only negative is that it's a bit of a walk into town. Yest its a pleasant 10... more

My partner and I stayed here in May 09 and we could not fault it in any way. Not only is it exceptionally clean, tidy and peacfull but the style and quality of the finish makes you feel like you are in a 5 star hotel. It was the perfect start to a magical tour of the highlands. Ps. Don't... more

This B&B lives up to the hype. Our party had two suites, each different but equally gorgeous. Very luxurious with lots of lovely little touches like shortbread and sherry in the room, handmade soaps, lovely peaceful sitting area. Gorgeous, gorgeous place. Also very professionally run – attentive without hovering and one of the best cooked breakfasts on the trip, complete... more

I have been travelling and staying in guest houses and hotels throughout the UK for twenty five years and have not stayed in another guest house in that time to surpass Trafford Bank. When I am planning a business trip; not being able to stay here is a big disapointment. Arriving here at the end of a busy day is... more
