This B&B was everything I had hoped and imagined it would be! The location was perfect, we could walk right into the center of Inverness. Lorraine, the owner, obviously loves her home and shares it with her guests in the most welcoming and beautiful way, anticipating everything a guest could possibly need. The Scottish breakfast was simply amazing, beautifully set... More

Wee trip to Inverness for a concert at Eden Court. When looking for accommodation I came across this Guest House. Similar price to the usual run of the mill hotels and included breakfast. Thought we would give it a try & we weren't disappointed. Beautiful clean room. Friendly Hostess. Fab breakfast & views towards Kessock Bridge & The Black Isle.... More

We had an unplanned stay here after arriving in Inverness without a reservation and, unbeknownst to us, a regional festival was in progress (all the hotels within our price range were full). We don't normally stay in B&Bs because proprietors often want to chat you up all morning but Lorraine was a great hostess. She was personable yet businesslike and... More

Very nice place. My ankles were sore after several days of trekking all over the country and the claw foot tub in the floral room was just what the doctor ordered! House is beautiful. Nice breakfast area with a garden to watch, lots of birds at feeders. Breakfast was good.

This B&B, run by Bob and Lorraine is in an old house. No elevator so without Bob's help, luggage would have been a real problem. The room had so much in it that in order to stay we had to rearrange the furniture. The bed was a queen, not our American kind of king. Good bathroom with lots of amenities.... More

What a strange review. This first thing this gentleman asked on arrival was who was going to carry their luggage upstairs. Not only Bob but one of our other guests helped carry their heavy bags. We were not allowed into their room to service it . They were in the Floral Suite which has what we Brits call a super... More

We only stayed for one night but enjoyed it very much. Much time and effort has gone into thinking about everything you might want and need. Nicely decorated big rooms, Nespresso machines in the room, gourmet teas, amazing bed, nice toiletries, excellent breakfast with a huge selection, handy parking and a great host to name just a few things.

Visit here for one night before heading of to Skye and it was an amazing start to our holiday. What a warm welcome you get when you first arrive at Trafford Bank. Great location, with a short walk to the city centre. The guest house was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with original art work and sculptures. Our room was very... More

We had a thoroughly enjoyable two days here before leaving for The Orkneys. It's a special place. Trafford Bank is located in a neighborhood where there is a mix of other B&Bs and private homes, so it's quiet. The house is a kick, but very comfortable. Rooms are generous, well appointed and make you want to sit back and relax.... More
