Spent one day here with my husband can absolutely love it. Lived up to all my expectations of what a top notch B&B should be. We stayed in the Trafford suite, which managed to be large and cozy all at the same time. The attention to detail everywhere was simply incredible. I feel like I need to make a list... More

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Trafford House for two nights. It lives up to all the excellent reviews . Form the minute you enter the driveway to this beautiful home the attention to detail makes a great impression. Lorraine works very hard to make you welcome without intruding on one's privacy. As previously mentioned... More

I arrived after a long day of driving and was delighted by both my reception and how absolutely lovely the house was. The decor was a mix of beautiful old world and very eclectic modern touches. The room was large and colorful, with an extra nice set-up of a variety of teas, french press coffee, and the best shortbread I've... More

I was greeted by Lorraine on arrival. She is the owner and her passion shines through. Breakfasts are a wonderful culinary experience and the casual environment, with a pretty view of the garden, made it even more enjoyable. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with interesting accents. It is also outfitted with a DVD player and you have access to Lorraine's... More

Had been recommended by some colleagues at my company and I was not disappointed! What a place this is, Lorraine the owner has attention to detail down to a fine art. Decor is beautiful, rooms were great. Breakfast is amazing! Can't wait for my next stay here in a couple of months!

Our family just spent two wonderful nights in two rooms here. What a treat! The rooms are cozy and the house is large and lovely. Lorraine, the owner, is pleasant, efficient, and helpful. Oh, and her breakfasts are outstanding. The house is partially surrounded by a small, beautiful garden and a decanter of sherry awaits in every room. This is... More

This guest house / B&B is one of the nicest along a street full of little houses turned into B&Bs and possibly the biggest and best suited to the task. We had a warm greeting and a very comfortable and quiet room. A wide selection of breakfast items is served to order each morning. Just a ten minute walk to... More

I have stayed at several hotels in Inverness (and that is really only when TB has been booked out or before I discovered this gem) but would never stay anywhere else now. For much less than the cost of a 4 star chain hotel you get sumptuously furnished and elegant accommodation and the best breakfast in the Northern Hemisphere. A... More

We stayed at Trafford Bank Guest House for two nights, using it as a base of operations for exploring the Inverness area. The rooms are well-furnished, well-maintained, and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, with an a generous a la carte menu customizable on a day-to-day basis. The location is a pleasant 10-15 min walk from town center. A nearby canal (1... More

It is understandable how this guest house has received 5 stars from the AA, it is quite simply the best accommodation we have stayed in anywhere, and we have been to some beautify places in the UK and Europe. Lorraine professes to be a part time interior designer and this shows, the whole hotel has original pieces of art which... More
