I have stayed at several hotels in Inverness (and that is really only when TB has been booked out or before I discovered this gem) but would never stay anywhere else now. For much less than the cost of a 4 star chain hotel you get sumptuously furnished and elegant accommodation and the best breakfast in the Northern Hemisphere. A... More

We stayed at Trafford Bank Guest House for two nights, using it as a base of operations for exploring the Inverness area. The rooms are well-furnished, well-maintained, and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, with an a generous a la carte menu customizable on a day-to-day basis. The location is a pleasant 10-15 min walk from town center. A nearby canal (1... More

It is understandable how this guest house has received 5 stars from the AA, it is quite simply the best accommodation we have stayed in anywhere, and we have been to some beautify places in the UK and Europe. Lorraine professes to be a part time interior designer and this shows, the whole hotel has original pieces of art which... More

Lorraine greeted us upon arrival and Immediately showed us around and settled us into our comfortable suite. The room was identical to the pictures. She made us a great breakfast each morning and recommended great local restrauants. I highly recommend the B&B for a base camp for Outlander and other Highlander tours. Randy & Linda

I have not one complaint regarding this fantastic guest house. Everything from the location to breakfast in the morning was just braw. The guest house is traditional Scottish,The room we had was called the tarton suite and had all the relevent extras that you could imagine. The pillows and duvet are fantastic,as was the nespresso esspresso machine in the room.... More

Absolutely the best guest house I have ever stayed in :) if you are still thinking about booking here, don't think any longer just book it. The room was very big, and the bed very comfortable, the host Lorraine is so friendly, she has made a big effort and it shows, and her breakfast is to die for :) And... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night in May 2014. We were just passing through Inverness and needed a place to stay for the night, we arrived in the afternoon after driving along Loch Ness and visiting Castles. Our Host was very welcoming and showed us around our room as we arrived. The room was very nice and... More

In a encompassing tour, research found this spot and booked on line. Exacting spot with delicious breakfast and good care, greatly appreciated. We like this area and treasure our memories here. Trip advisor always helps me decide. A great service to depend
