I've knocked a marking off as it was our most expensive B&B of our trip, however, couldn't fault it at all. Rooms are of a very high quality, use of a guest lounge which enabled us to watch the Commonwealth Games, lovely breakfast room and amazing furniture and antiques. Our boys loved the full suit of armour guarding the stairs.

We stayed at Torguish House for 1 night last month on our way back from the Isle of Skye. Once we'd found it (clearer directions on website would be helpful as our satnav let us down) it was an unexpected delight. We were greeted by the goose and friendly staff. There is lots to explore in and around the house... More

By pure luck our daughter-in-law found this quaint B&B near Inverness. Family owned and run, with homey feel and a great breakfast to boot. Beautiful grounds with lush greenery, flowers, friendly chickens, a squawking goose and antique barns filled with interesting finds. Clean rooms that have many choices for amount of people staying. Had the room at the top with... More

I stayed one night in early August while at Moy Game Fair. Three colleagues also booked rooms and another stayed previous night. We were each mightily impressed by the beautiful old Torguish manse and its array of antiques, old agricultural implements, and many other interesting items in their vast collection. A wander through the garden is made much more interesting... More

One of the best B&B me and my family has visited. Nice people, good accomodation, breakfast and an exciting garden and antiques shop. The children loved the goose and the hens. We should have stayed for longer.

Where to start?! We were greeted at the door by Angie who gave us a choice of rooms for our stay, both were beautifully presented, warm, and had tea/coffee and complimentary toiletries which is a nice touch in a B&B. She recommended the Culloden Moor Inn for dinner (see that review) and was still up when we got home. Unfortunately... More

I stayed at Torguish in October with my husband for a few days in October when we were due to attend a wedding in Inverness and wanted to do a bit of sightseeing as well. The owners were friendly and helpful when we saw them (which wasn't very much). The cottage was comfortable and well equipped, with probably the most... More

We did not love the B and B 's much but this one was the best of the 4 we stayed in while we were in Scotland. Pricey, and we were on the top floor...breakfast was good and the owner very personable and interesting!
