One of the best B&B me and my family has visited. Nice people, good accomodation, breakfast and an exciting garden and antiques shop. The children loved the goose and the hens. We should have stayed for longer.

We recently stayed at the Torguish and had a lovely time. the rooms were cosy and the breakfast was excellent, We even got a free lift to the local restaurant / pub. both Mike and Angie made us very welcome and the antique shop was also interesting, check out the 3 string guitars made and played by son Ben! we... Where to start?! We were greeted at the door by Angie who gave us a choice of rooms for our stay, both were beautifully presented, warm, and had tea/coffee and complimentary toiletries which is a nice touch in a B&B. She recommended the Culloden Moor Inn for dinner (see that review) and was still up when we got home. Unfortunately... More

I stayed at Torguish in October with my husband for a few days in October when we were due to attend a wedding in Inverness and wanted to do a bit of sightseeing as well. The owners were friendly and helpful when we saw them (which wasn't very much). The cottage was comfortable and well equipped, with probably the most... More

We did not love the B and B 's much but this one was the best of the 4 we stayed in while we were in Scotland. Pricey, and we were on the top floor...breakfast was good and the owner very personable and interesting!

Have to agree with most of the other good comments. Especially how friendly and helpful Angie was! However, our room was a family room at the top of the main house and somewhat tired to say the least. Unlike the other rooms, with their grand beds etc, our carpet was grubby, the furnishings shabby and the shower didn't work properly.... More

Spent two nights here for the Loch Ness Marathon. Angie was very hospitable, as was her son Ben who offered to carry us and our bags in after running the marathon! Mike made a mean breakfast and there was every kind of tea & coffee available. The only negative point of the whole stay was the lack of porridge on... More

Can't think what to say to top the other reviews...we stayed in the family room and had a lovely time and indeed this is a wonderful place to stay. Lots of character and friendly hosts...a place for grown ups and well behaved children.

This is the most quirky and friendly B&B we have stayed at. The owners are lovely and chatty. The house and gardens are full of unusual antiques and nic nacs which makes it much more interesting than a run of the mill B&B. The room was very clean and tidy. We had cooked breakfasts both mornings and they were delicious... More
