Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Touchwood House while on tour last year. The hostess is incredibly friendly, welcoming and kind and the house is amazing! The main hall is an incredible room which put me in mind of Hogwarts common rooms - lots of lovely squashy arm chairs, books to read, a gorgeous fireplace etc. etc. I stayed in... More

This is my favourite place to stay in Inverness, there is so much to see in this house and it's full of stories and memories. The character of the place captures the charm of a haunted house, yet it feels safe and warm. The house is a perfect setting for a period drama, you could spend hours admiring the ornate,... More

We booked via airbnb. So glad we found touchwood house. it is quirky and unique. The interior is like nothing else I've seen. It was like a set from an old creepy movie, but yet it wasn't at all scary it was very relaxing. The house is quite large and it has a sense of former opulence . We had... More

Stunning location with easy access to Inverness restaurants. Very welcoming, clean, distinctive and esoteric venue. Made very welcome. Very good night's sleep and generous breakfast. Thank you. I would definitely return.

The house is something else - grand and spaceous. Susan was a great host and very friendly. It is in walking distance to the Town centre and easy to drive to Loch Ness. I would very much recommend staying here.

As usual, perfect setting and perfect hostess. The hall way always reminds me of Gryfindor common room. Checked out the new decorating of the biggest room in the top floor of the house in full redecoration mode, Susan does most work herself, tireless faultless tasteful.

Picked touchwood from tourist information. The house is virtually a small stately home......Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We were working night shift but this was not a problem for Susan the owner. Totally recommend.

It would be unthinkable for me to stay anywhere else when visiting Inverness. A magnificent Victorian house with an ambiance to match, beautifully appointed, with a brilliant quirky touch. The grounds are fabulous.

A fantastic weekend was had by all.I was the first to arrive from the party who were arriving.A great host in Susan who immediately made me welcome for whom nothing is too much trouble. A spacious warm and welcoming house with large gardens I can highly recommend Touchwood b+b. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Inverness!
