Stayed here purely by chance. The owners are extremely helpful and accommodating with plenty of freely given local knowledge. We were planning to canoe the River Glass and were given great tips. The Westward is clean and comfortable with a great fresh (especially the eggs) breakfast. Will definitely return.

We've stayed in this B&B three or four times over the past two or three years, in connection with work. It's really good: plain, simple, unpretentious, comfortable, good food, nice people, reasonable rates. Recommended. (Ignore the "when did I travel" bit: I can't remember exactly when I last stayed here, but I am becoming aware that I need to leave... More

Whether you are a hill walker, someone who loves scenery, or want to stay in somewhere lovely far from the crowds of Loch Ness, this is a wonderful place. Friendly, welcoming, and with great information on the area. The roads in are up and down and around, with wonderful views appearing around every corner. Highly suggest using this as your... More

Can't remember how I found this place but so glad I did. For a visit to Loch Ness and surroundings it's on the very limits, 15 min drive, but such a lovely location. The couple who run this b&b are so lovely and take every opportunity to make sure you are happy and help with answering any questions you may... More

Very comfortable, very friendly people. Excellent location for hill-walking. It's just a shame that there is only one pub left within walking distance for evenings (the Slaters Arms), and that's pretty poor. But lovely B&B.

Glad you enjoyed your stay with us Matthew! The Slaters Arms is the nearest pub, but there is choice of other hotels/restaurants a short drive away. More

This is a very friendly family run B&B. Me and my boyfriend stayed here three times so far and it was always a pleasure. Rooms (we stayed in all of them) are nice, clean, warm, spacious and very cosy. They provide a large selection of organic products : teas, coffees, hot chocolates, cookies etc (very nice gesture and always appreciated).... More

Charming and sensitively restored period B&B in a beautiful area, run by a friendly family. We were extremely lucky with the weather (end of February) and managed to do some fantastic walks around Cannich in some very isolated places. When we get back to the B&B, the owners were very welcoming and helped us to dry our wet equipments from... More

Of all the places we stayed during a two-week holiday to the Highlands and islands, this was hands-down the most restful, comfortable and enjoyable. Cannich is in a lovely spot, with Glen Affric just down the road. Sue and Alistar took excellent care of us, recommended routes and spots to see, and put a delicious breakfast in front of us... We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at Westward in Cannich. It was cold and rainy, and (bless them) the owners kept apologizing for the weather...not as though they can control it! They provided a map of walks through Glen Affric and helped us with driving directions. After adventuring in the rain all day, it was so nice to come... More

Beautiful old house, full of character, in the beautiful small town Cannich located right in Strathglass Valley (not in Inverness), surrounded by large unspoilt woods and with beautiful waterfalls in the vicinity. Owners are a very nice young couple with small children. Service ans breakfast are excellent. And price has the lowest we got in our 10 day trip to... More
