We believe that some of the previous comments on this hotel should be treated with a degree of scepticism ! We stayed here from November 13 - 15. Following check-in, we went to our allocated double room which was presented to a high standard (clean and comfortable). However, the outlook from the window was not to our liking (overlooking the... more

I have stayed at this hotel on business since 2002 and after my last trip it will be my last time. Mainly for 3 reasons 1 The rooms they are now dated and many of the ones I have stayed in over the past 6 months need decorated and repaired, the bathrooms are in a very worn state with ground... more

My husband and I stayed for one night for our Weddng Aniversary. The hotel was excellent and easy to find. The lobby was so inviting with all the comfy sofas and attractive lighting. The Bar/Lounde was also the same with sofas that you could sit in comfortably for a few hours enjoying a drink or two!! The rooms were bright... more

We spend three nights at Kingsmills. It's situated in an attractive building around a ten-fifteen minute walk from the center of town. Our room was light, spacious and airy. We had a comfortable bed and a pleasant bathroom with a big bath, a separate shower and lots of hot water. The hotel breakfast was, by the standard of these things,... more

Stayed at the Kingsmills in September 2009 as part of a football squad with a block booking when playing in the area. I was very impressed. Hotel reception was efficient with all the rooms sorted out in advance and keys in envelopes for issue. Reception area is nicely decorated, spacious and tidy. Rooms on second floor where I was were... more

Had a fantastic one night stay at this hotel, friendly greeting, quick check-in, spacious and comfortable room. Staff were all friendly and looked after me well. They must have a high calibre chef as the food was exceptional. Can not fault them anywhere - I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Many thanks, Colin Fletcher more

No Mini bar in the room. old fashioned bathroom, No free internet ,and limited time to activate your access? Good b'fast but dreadful coffee. Food in restaurant can vary from average to bad , Staff helpful but maybe a little inexperience. more

Thank you for making the time to give us feedback. I was disappointed you did not think the hotel was worthy of 4 stars. Whilst our bedrooms do not have mini bars and some of our bathrooms are old fashioned, the hotel changed ownership less than two years ago and the new owners are committed to a continual investment programme....
