We stayed at the Thistle in Inverness to attend a wedding at the Loch Ness Country House Hotel. My husband and I stayed here overnite. Nice rooms, spacious when compaired to some others in Scotland. Friendly staff, not certain why they have a 30 minute limit on free wifi however. Plenty of parking on site. Restaurant downstairs excellent waitress K. MacLeod, dinner and breatkfast was good!

spacious clean rooms, my husband and i have stayed in both a standard double and a double suite, excellent meal at night, plenty of parking, reasonable prices. access for guests to the swimming pool, gym etc was a bonus! loved it!

Reasonably priced hotel with lovely clean rooms. The bed was very comfy! I stay here with work quite frequently, very comfy beds and very clean room with a great breakfast in the morning! I mostly dine out as the food is quite expensive. Good atmosphere in the bar at night. good wifi, but not free ( Bt openzone ) also has a nice pool and decent gym.

I stayed one night. My room was awful.the carpet was completely worn, walls were stained and the wallpaper was falling off. The shower head in my shower fell off mid shower. Got my room through Expedia for a song, which compensated for most of its shortcomings. While my single room was very comfortable (with huge double bed, TV, heating, tea supplies and kettle, and an opulent bathroom with tub), the hotel itself is rather dreary and charmless.
