My wife & I stayed here for three nights recently & would definitely recommend to others, Nan was very friendly & made us feel at home, there were little extras such as her home baking & supply of port & sherry available to guests in the lounge area which was nice to come back to at the end of the... Nan was very kind and helpful and accommodating to my gluten intolerance. She bakes cakes for everyone to enjoy free of charge and supplies a fabulous breakfast. The rooms were cosy and clean and the locations is good for getting into the heart of Inverness. There's even a little night cap so port or sherry provided. A brilliant stay!

We had a very comfortable stay here. The room was spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent. The location is very convenient being near the footbridge for the town centre and also very handy for the Rocpool restaurant. Access was a bit of a problem as the street was dug up for flood defence work, but Richard very kindly went... More

My aunt and I were very comfortable staying here, we felt safe warm and local. Toilets are tricky to flush fully, but I think that's a Scotland's plumbing thing. We were well within comfortable walking distance to the center of town (visitors center) and the bus and train station. Nan has a lovely breakfast spread every morning, something for everyone!... Westbourne Guest House is within walking distance of the High Street and a convenient place to stay. The rooms were clean and the size ok, bathroom as well, breakfast was good, friendly and helpful hosts. We enjoyed the free night cap of Port or Sherry. A place to remember for the next visit.

The hosts made us very welcome. There were complimentary cakes and a glass of port in the evening. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast very good, with lovely fresh fruit salad and a delicious cooked option.

Richard and Nan both greeted us when we arrived and Richard insisted on carrying our luggage to our room which was appreciated. The comfortable ensuite room was very well equiped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay and the wifi works well. However it's the warm welcome from Nan and Richard that sets this place apart from the... More

The owners Nan and Richard are so lovely. The house is equipped with everything you could ask for, no with much more... e.g. the best homemade cookies and portwine for guest's free pleasure. Thank you Nan, we forgot to mention it. The location is perfect at the river, right beside the footbridge. The views from the rooms are not the... More

I have stayed at Westbourne a number of times and can confidently say that you will not find a better B&B in Inverness - and possibly not anywhere else in Scotland. The facilities are nothing short of excellent and the overall experience is one to be thoroughly enjoyed. Well-run, fairly-priced, with thoughtful and caring hosts. If you go, you'll go... More

Stayed one night as it was very handy for Eden Court Theatre. Was made to feel really welcome and was pleased that there was everything you needed to hand, hairdryer, iron, fridge etc the owners really have thought of everything. Fridge was stocked with bottled water and fresh milk which was a lovely touch, although I would have preferred it... More
