Bunchrew is everything I expected and more I stayed with my 4yr old daughter as a little mummy daughter get away to try and find Beasley. It is pricey but we saved up and was worth every penny. The building its self is stunning exactly what you see in the photos we stayed in the turret room just like in... More

The whole experience was so delightful. The only drawback was they couldn't make us an espresso or cappuccino but when we suggested that they should consider invested in a coffee machine they smiled and agreed that it was worth looking into!! Full marks to the staff and also to the pleasant guests that were dining there celebrating a birthday. Bunchrew... More

Nice location, friendly staff but building could do with some tlc. That said the shabbiness kind of works. Good sized rooms but bathrooms a tad primitive. Nice restaurant with views of the firth. Free parking and wifi.

If you are looking to stay in a beautiful historical home, stay here. Feels like a step back in time. Staff very attentive and rooms gorgeous. It is a ways out of town so a car is a must. Very relaxing and very Scottish.

Very nice and secluded hotel with history and charm. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The old house had great Scottish charm and the accomidations were both clean and comfortble. We only ate breakfast there but it was amazingly delicious. Highly remend this hotel for a wonderful experience. The views on the water with the morning fog burning off were... More

Have just spent 10 nights at this wonderful hotel - our second visit. Cannot fault anything. Views and setting idyllic; staff friendly and smartly dressed, well trained, professional and endlessly patient in dealing with the many guests who speak little or no English. Dinners were fine dining at its best and it was a pleasure to have breakfast served at... More

The location is lovely and very close to the city centre. We loved the old Scottish style of the place. The staff were lovely and very attentive. It's a little bit run down but that did not spoil our visit. Rooms need a bit of an update as does the bedding and the really awful and horrible old pillows! The... More

We went to Scotland in June with our two sons ages 8, 10. We spent three nights here in rooms next door to one another. The setting is lovely, right on the water with expansive grassy areas. Our sons played catch and tag on both lawns and we didn't worry about them a bit. The public spaces are quite nice,... More

Stayed for a weekend over the new year and was welcomed from the first minute. The hotel is set in stunning grounds on the bank of the firth and the staff couldn't do enough to help. The food was outstanding and we had a picnic made up for us when we went out exploring. Would definitely recommend it for couples... More

This hotel was so beautiful - it felt like being back in time! My husband and I stayed four nights at the tail end of our vacation and we loved it so much that on a slightly drizzly day, we stayed in and enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel. Also worth noting is that the food is delicious!!! I would... More
