We stayed at Bunchrew House Hotel for one night before flying home from Inverness airport following a short holiday in The Isle of Skye. The setting is absolutely stunning and the grounds peaceful with amazing views across the estuary. We had previously requested a room with a view, but in fact looked out over the front to the car park!... More

Our family stayed for 2 nights at Bunchrew. It was a lovely base from which to explore Inverness and the surrounding area. We were very impressed with the size of our room. There was a large bed and sitting area with an alcove near the door. The hotel set up 2 twin beds in the alcove for the kids creating... More

The location is excellent. The park around the castle is impressive with these centenial trees. We had a family room as we were travelling with our daughter. The room was large enough to accomodate all of us. Thebreakfast was esquisite. The choice were fantastic, even offering eggs benedict, a rarity in Europe. The only remark is that the linen and... We stayed for three day at Bunchrew and it was a great experience! The landscape is really impressive, the gardens are magnificent and the view from our room was spectacular. The staff is great and my girls loved staying in a castle. The restaurant is also very good, we dined also in Inverness but the hotel restaurant is much better!... More

This lovely boutique hotel is located just outside Inverness in an idyllic spot on Beauly Firth, lovely gardens surround it. Quiet, elegantly furnished rooms with wonderful views--our own suite had a window seat overlooking the firth. Elegant lounge to share a drink before a delicious dinner. Lovely full Scottish breakfast before setting out to explore the area. Excellent service from... More

Lovely quiet boutique hotel in a fab seeking right on the Loch. The hotel staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to to help us. The setting was beautiful and our fellow inhabitants were quiet and pleasant. The food was fabulous and the service attentive and helpful. A lovely experience.

So many five stars..but they are justified. Lovely Room, spacious, real milk in fridge...comfortable bed and free Internet. I had a two course evening meal.. Really interesting and very good food. I would eat there again anyday. The staff where outstanding. Jolly, Professional and Friendly. The position by the side of the Beauly Firth is stunning. The garden looks relaxing... More

My husband and I stayed at the Bunchrew House Hotel for his 40th birthday. This house is very personalized with 16 private guest rooms and a restaurant/lounge area. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and got to experience the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The property is absolutely beautiful and the house sits right... More

For our ten person, ten day tour of Scotland, this place stood head and shoulders above all of the other hotels that we visited. The location and grounds are outstanding. A small castle like building overlooking the water with well maintained grounds greets you at the end of a long driveway. There are chairs set out on the grounds to... More

Staying at the Bunchrew House Hotel is like visiting an old (and moneyed) school chum at his ancestral home out in the country. The drive out from Inverness to the west is not particularly auspicious, but one then turns off the road and winds down a path through the woods with the Firth on the right and white painted stones...
