We happened upon this pleasant little place by accident and was overjoyed with everything, from the very warm welcome, to the cosy comfortable bed, to the yummy cooked breakfast, everything felt so homely. Sandra went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nothing short of wonderful. We look forward to visiting Scotland again and will defiantly make our... More

Sandra gives so much attention to detail in her lovely warm house. Our bedroom and bathroom were so clean, the bed so comfortable. We felt like family in no time. I, as a dog lover who was missing my own dog, loved playing with Sandra's adorable dog, Darcy. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Sandra was so welcoming and personable.... More

Excellent, well appointed and very comfortable and homely B&B. Just a few blocks from the centre of Inverness, a lovely wander along the river Ness to the bridge, across from the Castle overlooking the city . Sandra the perfect hostess, fabulous breakfasts, great personality and welcoming and helpful with off street parking. Highly recommend.

I showed up unannounced at Sandra's door travelling with 3 kids (13, 11, 4). In her lovely way she made a great effort to offer a fitting setup for us 4. My children loved it there, my daugher said she felt like being in a little castle. Great breakfast and tips for trips. We enjoyed Sandra's little playful dog. Siegfried... More

Our previously booked accommodation fell through on the second night. A quick phone call meant we were welcomed by Sandra. Lovely old home turned into a lovely B & B. Loved the walk in showers having spent a lot of anxious moments trying to clamber into bathtubs just to shower, (who uses a bath in these busy times anyway ?)... More

In the interest of brevity, let me just say this is one great B&B. Sandra is terrific and the accommodations are excellent. Our extra bonus was her three young grand daughters were visiting her while we were there and they were delightful. Short walk to center of town and lots of first rate restaurants. Can't go wrong here.

We had the pleasure of stumbling upon this immaculate B&B by chance in the pouring rain, looking like drowned rats, Sandra welcomed us into her beautiful home, and settled us into an amazing room, our bed was comfortable, our pillows plump, the bathroom clean, towels fluffy ! Breakfast was fantastic ( I am a fussy eater). With good off street... More

This is the third time I've visited the ever-friendly and ever-helpful Sandra MacDonald. Two of us arrived on two motorbikes, for which there is tarmac hard standing at the rear - brilliant! Excellent accommodation in a handy location, both for the town and travelling onward. The house is beautifully cared for and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is an inspiring event! Make... More
