I stayed just recently at this lovely guest house. After a long very tiring day travelling from South west Scotland I arrived late in Inverness with nowhere to stay Id tried several hotels but they were all booked up and got turned away by other bed and breakfasts so I came eskdaleguest house as it was well lit up outside... Stylish hotel within walking distance of the shops and river. Absolutely delighted with the accommodation and exceptional service from the moment I arrived until departure. Lovely décor – no expense spared in the attention to details, everything seemed to be of high quality. Everything you could possibly need in the bathroom or room was provided, plus separate lounge and spacious... More

I don't normally write reviews, but I'm happy to make an exception for this gem of a guest house. I've stayed here twice now (in different rooms), and I'm sure I'll be back again. It's very convenient for the city centre, quiet and easy to find. Everything about the Eskdale exudes quality. Even on a really cold night the room... More

I stayed at Eskdale Guest House for one night in September 2014. I took the train from Edinburgh and walked to the guest house. It was a relatively short, easy, and beautiful walk - even at night. I had booked the hotel on the train ride, so I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. It was quiet, warm, and... More

Stayed here last year, must say its the best iv'e stayed in, rooms were lovely and warm, breakfast was superb and the owner could'nt have been more helpful, would definitely recommend Eskdale as the place to stay in Inverness. I would be very surprised if anybody had any complaints abouts against Eskdale Guest House.

We stayed 2 nights at Eskdale Guest House, which is situated on the corner of Greig Street and the A82, with easy access to Inverness town center via the Greig Street pedestrian bridge. The proprietors are friendly and helpful. For example, they suggested a good restaurant nearby for dinner. Unfortunately, the room we originally booked - which had twin beds... More

We stayed on a tiny room- you couldn't put a suitcase on the floor without blocking either the bedroom door or the bathroom door. The two twin beds sagged, and the room had very tired furnishings. Breakfast was average. Cramped private parking lot. We had to block in two cars for the night. The heat in our room did not... More

"Highly recommended B&B", "Clean & comfortable place to stay", "Made to feel at home", are but a few of the excellent reviews I have received on Trip Advisor. I am saddened that even after reimbursing you the amount you asked for, that you felt compelled to right such a bad review. The guest house was full on the night that... More

Eskdale Guest House is absolutely immaculate, with everything you need. The rooms are stylish and spotless and en-suite is also stylish and spotless. The whole place is stylish and spotless, very welcoming host and simply everything you'd look for in a Guest House

We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The room was a bit small but cosy and spotlessly clean. The beds were so comfortable - the best night's sleep I had on my trip! Our host was so gracious and kind - we were there on a weekend and breakfast usually starts at 8:30 but she... More

Central location, great for restaurants and bars. Lovely owners and superb food. Room 4 suffered greatly from noise in room 5 during our stay (bedroom door opening and closing many times throughout the night). Pedestrian crossing outside room 4's window also adds noise from early on a morning. I would happily stay here again in a different room.
